Working on form - s/b/d each workout?

I was wondering if it would be a good idea to, regardless of the workout, do some light (40-50%) squats/bench/deads and concentrate purely on the form, and periodically checking if you can maintain the form by adding weight and doing very few reps.

I figure the more you practice the form the better, and keeping the weights light will prevent from impacting on anything. Plus ill burn a couple calories more...

Does it sound like a good idea?
