    Talking bulgarian split squats vs back squats

    i hurt my low back and wont be able to squat for a few weeks. do you guys think bulgarian split squats will give as much work to your legs and glutes as back squats will. i am thinking about permanantly replacing backsquats w/ bulgarian splitsquats. also what do you guys think of this stiff leg DL, bulgarian split squats reverse lunges leg extentions and leg curls as a lower body workout

    Nothing is better than squats, sure do some split squats, do some lower back work, get you're lower back stronger and in a month or two start doing back squats again...

    I dont get why people say Back squats are the king. Yeah you can go heavy as fuarrk but I feel Bulgarian split squats or front squat and having a stiff leg dead or romanian dead would be better for alot of athletes and bodybuilders.
