    Surge diet?

I was reading about some diet for bulking with little fat gain. Basically it talked about eat at maintenance for 5 days and for 2 days eat about 1500 calories above maintenance. Supposedly your body will want to use the calories towards muscle growth. I read it in an magazine though, which leads me to believe it's broscience. What do you guys think?

Sounds kinda like the anabolic diet. If you want to get big with minimal fat gain, it's best just to eat a smaller surplus. Don't make things more complicated than they should be.
