Vegas Basics/Tips (if you plan on going to Vegas gtfih)

Hey brahs.. Going to Vegas in early November for 4 nights with 2 other brahs.. booking a room for 3 dudes is kinda annoying, so I am looking into getting a decent suite (2 bedroom maybe).. Can anyone recommend a good hotel option that is going to be around $150-$200/night each? First time in Vegas so pretty happy to splash out a little.

I've read through a lot of this thread and saw that Planet Hollywood might be a good option, but it seems to be booked out?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Also a semi-retarded question... are you able to go to the pools of other hotels even if you aren't staying there??

Just got back tired as hell, everybody on the plane ride to vegas is excited as hell. Folks were drinking/laughing and cracking jokes but on the flight home everybody was half dead and hungover. If you are into dance I would recommend seeing the Jabbawockeez show it was a fantastic show and way better than anything I expected. Only went to 1 club which was Coyote Ugly in NYNY where I was staying. Cheap cover & drinks and I had a fantastic time got yucky and danced the night away while making out with some chick on the dance floor. I can only imagine how crazy the bigger clubs get.

Hot chicks all over the city, now that I am back home every girl looks like a 5.

Tried to go to Earl of Sandwich but the line was wrapped around the corner.

Also be prepared to get handed 10000000000000000 flyers/cards/cds while you are walking the strip

I can confirm. Me and the wife went stayed there in May. Super nice hotel, the only bad thing is that it's not on the strip, but in a way that's a good thing too because it filters out traffic. I can't wait to go back.

Not a retard question at all, very common one. But no, you're not allowed; pools are one of a hotel's biggest selling points, so they're only available to guests of that particular hotel. This doesn't include the bg pool parties/dayclubs, of course

If you buy prepaid tickets to pool parties and etc.; can they still deny you entry? or will they be massive *******s and make you wait in line?

Some pool parties might have a line, but when I went to Tao Beach, I went late, like 2pm, there was little to no line at the will-call. So after you get your ticket, you just walk right in to the pool area. That is of course after you go through the maze of the casino to find the pool.

I am sure they can deny you for being rude, rowdy, too drunk, etc. But, generally if you buy a ticket to a pool party (whether it's at your hotel or not) you're good to go.

I'm sure someone has already said this, but i'm not reading the whole thread to check.

Hit up any buffet you go to about 20-30min before lunch ends and dinner starts. Wait for them to bring out the dinner stuff, which you get for the lunch price. Profit.

IMO the Bellagio and the Aria have the best buffets in town. At the Aria (you have to actually go and pay the dinner price) they have ALL YOU CAN DRINK. Worth it.

Depends where you are, for example Tao Beach had a locker area (pricey), but I was staying at Planet Hollywood and when i would go down there, I would just wrap my phone in a towel, but it's nothing fancy so i wasn't too worried about it. You can keep your room key in your swim gear and it won't be an issue though. If you are worried about it, don't bring it.

So we jumped on the plane from London - Vegas last Wednesday.

Boozed up in the Airport over an English Breakfast, boozed up on the plane, landed around 4 vegas time, hit the pool for a couple of hours and some buckets of bud, got freshened up and changed and hit the strip, worked our way down, had a Margarita in Margaritaville.
Then decided to head Surrender, grabbed a table for the 8 of us, every bloody bird we chatted to was from England haha (story of the week pretty much). Lil Jon performed. Meh.

Thursday, table at Tryst, not a club for me, just something didn't sit right with the atmosphere. See Lauren Pope in there.

Friday headed to Hakkasan for Tiesto, asked well over the odds for a table so we just went LAX and had an awesome night for about a third of the price!

Saturday - Marquee, pretty chilled, just had a table out by the pool, loads of birds trying to jump on with us!

Sunday - I was a broken man and slept for about 20hrs, missed the Wet Republic Pool party, lads only hit the casino and a couple bars that night anyway!

Monday - XS - Awesome club, Drank, A LOT! Dentist Chairs with the Goose, my shirt was ruined!

Tuesday, last night, gave it all we had in 1oak had an awesome massive table just off the dancefloor!

See, that's what ****ing sucks about going to a pool party that ISN'T at your hotel. I NEVER bring my phone to the pool, EVER! I always want to dip in to stay cool and get wet. I fear getting my phone stolen if it was on shore when someone wasn't watching it. I've had shirts and flip flops stolen before, so a phone would definitely be a target. As far as a room key, just put it in your shorts pocket. Most board shorts have a Velcro pocket.
