Absolutely every place on strip checks id's once if not twice. you more than likely will get refused service at top tier clubs. At lower tier clubs like where i work it's still iffy but you might run into a cool bouncer that will let you in of you slip him a $20. I know when i first started and worked door I raked in the cash from hot broads who "lost" their ids.

Got back yesterday.
Even if you fly in by yourself, IMO you're probably better off getting a cab. I had a horrendous experience taking the shuttle - took about 2 hours. If you do decide on the shuttle (7 bucks for a hotel on the near strip - taxis would probably run you 15 after tip), do not take Showtime. They were closest to the main exits, and I did not know there were other shuttle services until after I bought my ticket... then I waited over an hour in line cause they weren't prepared for that much volume (in the meantime, I saw Bell Tran shuttle after shuttle drive by).So yea, I lost my first gamble in Vegas.
My gf tried the sandwich trick at Mandalay Bay (she got there a couple days before me cause she was sent there for a work related conference), and due to them hosting a bunch of conferences as well as the BET Hoodie Awards that weekend, they didn't have anything to upgrade to. They did move us to a higher floor as well as returned the $20. Mandalay is a more family oriented place (with the pools), so others will probably have a better party atmosphere. Having been to a beach a month ago, I was unimpressed by the wave pool (had to wait a couple minutes between waves), but the lazy river was fun. Bring your own tube, cause they try to charge you 22+tax for them there.
Food wise, I unfortunately did not get a chance to try earl of sammich. We did go to Paris restaurant though - food was great and view was amazing. If you plan on going to Tao nightclub, as someone already mentioned, reserve a table well in advance and purchasing an entree there gives you complimentary access to the club.
Lastly, slots are a waste of time on the strip. I tried Pai Gow, and despite lots of pushes, I did not play too long and did not enjoy it too much. I think because of the odds and no inherent dealer advantage, most places charge you 5% of your winnings. That made it annoying to keep playing, cause you'd have to keep dealing with smaller chips and change and you're still losing if you win as many times as you lose. I had a blast and won a decent bit (relative to my planned gambling budget, not much at all overall) playing craps. The atmosphere of that game is great. Oh, and also, of the places I gambled, Bellagio had really watered down drinks, but Mandalay got me drunk in few drinks before I left for the airport.

Vegas
I went to Marquee Dayclub for a few day Bachelor party trip with the boys. Was definitely a worthwhile experience if you dont mind dropping money for a Cabana or it's for a special occasion....You get hot ass hostess, and a spot to bring back groups of girls that you hit it off with. Or try a group, kick em out, get another group. Vegas can live up to the hype, it's all what you make of it!
Besides all the drinking....partying....strip clubbling.....one normal event I'll say I had a blast doing was ATVing. They drop you off and basically you got free reign speeding all over the desert.

just turned 21! yeah boy!
Friends totally bitched out this past weekend on partying it up... (made me rage hard)... I ended up partying it with my GF though, we had a fukkin blast! First went to the show absinthe at ceasers, followed by PURE at ceasers. Cover charge was pretty high since Jlo was there. I got lucky, this cool guy randomly pulled me and my gf out of the gayass long line to get in for free with him and his group, (his gf/wife had the hook up). Danced my arss off and was drunk as fudge...
Maybe one day ill join some miscers although so many of you seem sketchy lol... any locals that arent weirdos and need a wingman hit me up.reasons > excuses

so i was killing it at the craps table but was starting to get dizzy from being so tired.
I stayed up all night/day playing because i had a normal flight time...ended up the flight got cancelled because the plane broke down and they couldn't get a replacement. SO i had to take a night time flight
Pit boss came over and handed me this, which i thought was a voucher or something for food since i was KILLING it on a roll (longest roll i had ever before crapping out).

Just got back from 5 nights
About 2.5 nights too long
Wow, was way too unorganized and not planned out
Pissed through money like crazy
Had a hooker steal my wallet the second night because my buddy thought he was doing work on these two ghetto chicks and finds out she's a hooker when she said it was 150 for the night, my buddy is apparently too good for hookers he
tells her to screw and they lift my wallet
I'd recommend planning everything out to be able to budget the trip accurately, go to shows, restaurants and keep gambling to a minimum
I had a very difficult time finding normal non hooker girls as well
I stayed at harrahs, good location and not too expensive
