    Question Heaviest Calf raises?

I was just wondering what the heaviest calf raise is.. I tried googling it and found nothing except for a guy pushing 510 on a seated. Personally I can push 400 x 2 on a standing with 1 leg with bad form, 350 x 6 with good form on 1 leg.

You can't find anything about the heaviest calf raise because nobody really cares about that. That's even worse than "how much can you curl?"

No clue...I have a former training partner who had some pretty strong calves. He would do the donkey machine fully loaded with plates for sets of 15-20. I think it totaled over 1,000lbs.

like its already been mentioned, no one really keeps track of that. BUT, I'd figure the strongest of the strong could easily stack on 1000+ to do them on like a leg press or whatever, hell maybe 2000+ on one. I don't know good luck finding out.

You wanna work on your calves? Jump rope and box squat. End of story.

Except there are sanctioned curl competitions. NASA has them and I think SPF does them sometimes too. There may be more.
