Question about muscle memory. Got sick lost 25lb... hoping to put the muscle back on

I got sick in late May/early June and lost 25lbs. People have told me don't worry with muscle memory you will put the weight back on in a few months and your strength will come back as well. Does anyone have a realistic timeframe or any intelligent comments on this? I'd appreciate a source if you are throwing facts at me. Appreciate your time guys

appreciate the advice man. however, i'm not going to take creatine. the only thing i've ever taken is whey protein and i don't feel like i need any supplements to get big... and as a college student i cannot afford to anyways.

Even though it took me 6 months to achieve those gains in the first place? Would you mind explaining to me why you believe it'll come back in 1-2 months?

Yes. Have a training partner help you with big negatives.

    I'm talking HARD negatives

for example, have the fool basically do a barbell Bent over Row while your benching something you cant even bench.

then eat the negative slow and hard, to the point your screaming for like 4-6+ reps

your body will eventually get used to the load again, and will get stronger/grow.

Considering I'm going back to SS because I love the progress I made with the program... I don't really know how to incorporate negatives into that

Unless someone would recommend a different routine. However with muscle memory wouldn't it make sense to go back to the same lifts you'd been doing to get the same muscles back to the state they were in?

Idk... I'd definitely like to see what those routines entail before I commit myself to one blindly. And I definitely like spending an hour or less in the gym
