    Chicken Macros Raw or Cooked?

I'm starting my diet tomorrow so just having this quick question answered would help me a ton. I have boneless skinless chicken that says a servings size is 4oz, with 20g protein and 2.5g fat. I weighed one of the chicken breast raw and it came up around 15oz or so(can't remember precisely), and after cooking it came back as around 8-9 oz. My question is, is the macros of 20g of protein for 4oz COOKED or 4oz RAW, it doesn't mention. May be a simple question but its plaguing me so any help would be greatly appreciated.

If the chicken is packaged raw then the nutritional facts are most likely for the chicken as packaged, or raw in this case. 4oz of cooked chicken has a bit more than 20g of protein.

Weigh your food raw, unless the nutritional info on the back of the pack says otherwise, be consistent, the weight lost in cooking doesn't effect the macros, it is just water weight.
