Ok so I've decided to do a log since I've never bulked. Well, never bulked appropriately.
To make a long story short for those who don't know me I started my journey in Jan 2010 at about 250. I lost about 58 lbs and hit a plateau in March of this year. I've done a few diet breaks etc but basically been between 193-196 since March. Im nervous about this bulk vecause i have more fat than I'd like but I genuinely feel my body is tired of dieting and many posters have encouraged me to bulk.
I got cals down up from 2200 to about
2700. I noticed an improvement in ab definition and vascularity. Today was my first day increasing cals up to 3000. I noticed I had a bunch of cals left over at the end of the day to get in. Gotta work on that. Its harder than I thought getting in cals without "cheat" foods or booze.
Look forward to the journey

I'm doing a 5 day split.
Chest
Back
Legs
Arms
Shoulders/forearms
No real set cardio or abs schedule just kinda when I feel like it. Been jogging a bit lately. Off to do some early am lifting. Was gonna do back but my knees a bit sore from squats I thinks so I'm going to switch arms and do back tomorrowPL Log

Strong start to Day 1. I looked back and had to subtract some olive oil I didn't end up using so finished about 60 cals below where I wanted. Ha ha. Just thought that was funny. Not really worried

Thanks for the support. So far 0/2 on hitting 3000 cals. Been around 2950ish both days. It's not that I'm not hungry honestly it's just getting used to eating more food without eating crap. After cutting for 19 months it's hard to break that habit. I did have a nice 14 oz Ny strip Tonight. Grilled to perfection

Had a great back workout today. Increased weight on deads which I was happy about. Also increased reps in 3 of 5 other lifts. Wasn't trying to add reps in other 2. Determined to get over 3000 cals today

Gonna get to 3000 today. Gonna make a mint choc chip shake to cap it off. Tried cinnamon cheerios for first time. Nice. Enjoy eating cereal which I really never did while cutting

Man getting no love up in here. So far things are going well but haven't weighed yet. Can I expect a big gain at first? How often do you guys usually weigh in? I was typically doing weekly when cutting. Any reason tp change?
Going out with the in laws tonight. 20 weeks and a bottle of wine fit into macros. Bulking is awesomePL Log

i ate 2 servings of chocolate cheerios last night as my last meal. i had 317 grams of carbs yesterday which is actually a bit on the higher range for me. basically ive been increasing cals for 4 weeks, the last week at 3000 and im between 193-195 which is where ive been stuck at. this week was a loss at 3000.
