yes on weekdays I'm up at 4 and in gym by 5. have to be at school by 730 and have a 45 min commute
I considered it but I'm gonnna pass. Im too far into my bulk and not ready to stop and cut so can't really commit to either category right now. Maybe if it started later. I'll be following those that doPL Log

Props on hittin the weights that early. Im debating trying it (albeit not as early...our gym opens at 7). would really open my schedule up if I could get my lifting out of the way before classes. Its a rough transition though and I never feel as strong in the morning...and yeah tbh I almos tdidnt wanna do the contest but some cheeky kunt goaded me on

Thats some strong dedication to hit it that early. How much sleep do you average Ryan?

Don't have a choice. Work is 7:30-3, then practice, then 45 min commute. Wth both my jobs, wife, travel, etc no time/energy to lift at night. Must sacrifice to win. I prefer lifting early. Even weekends I sleep in and still lift around 8-10 depending on when i get up.
Probably get 6-7 hours. I try to get in bed by 9-930 depending on what time I get home. I only lift 2-3 week days and sleep in till 5 the off days.PL Log

Macros. I haven't really been tracking the past two days. Some major stress has come about and it's been an afterthought. No doubt about surplus
Haven't weighed since Thursday
Today's Workout. Upper ME
Roll/stretch 15 min. Back sore from squats
Treadmill 5 min
RC 20-2x-10
Paused Bench
135x5
155x5
185x3
215x2 +10 lbs
225x2
245x1
250x1
255x1
260-2x1
-original plan was to do the last set at 265 instead of trying 270 again but 260 felt harder than it has so i decided to do another set there so I didn't fail. Wanted to get 5 full singles in. 2nd 260 was major grinder but I got it
Floor press
185x8 +2
185-2x7 +1 each
205x5 +1
205x3
Db hammer curl
50x12
50x6 -4
50x8
Skipped 4th set
Face pulls
200-2x12 +1 2nd set
200x10 +2
skipped 4th set
Cut accessory work short. Benching tired me and focus was below average.PL Log

I know this feel. If I didn't lift early, I'd be too tanked or too busy to get it in at all. I am always at the gym as soon as it opens. Weekdays that's 5:30, and weekends it's 7 on Saturday and 8 on Sunday. I've also noticed that there's less competition for equipment when you go that early due to the diminished crowd, so that's a nice bonus as well.
