    Month away from photo shoot.... help?!?

    hey guys/girls! so i am quite excited to finally be here. i have been on and off this site for awhile now just trying to get the best info i can about the fitness world. anyways i am about a month or so away from 1st official photo shoot and i need to shed some weight. obviously i am holding a significant amount of water right now and i do plan on carb cycling the week before my shoot. i could use some advice on what routines works better, nutrition and so on . any sort of information you can lend me would be quite appreciated!!

    No idea but what are you height, weight, and bf%? You look pretty good man, no homo. How long have you been training?

    Thank you!! I have been lifting for about 4 years now, but really only about half of that if not less knowing what I was doing. I am 5'6 161lbs last time I checked my body fat I was sitting on about 8 1/2% or so maybe more.

    I wouldnt say your holding a substantial amount of water IMO. I would just continue to diet with a reasonable calorie deficit. 4 weeks is not a whole lot of time but you should be able to drop another 5-6lbs or so. I wouldnt do anything drastic when it comes to the shoot. Just keep water high and consistant.

    I am drinking about 150 oz of water a day right now which I will increase the closer I get to the shoot. I will definitely cut my calories but I am worried about cuttting too many and losing muscle from the cardio I am doing.

    I agree.. Dont need to re invent the wheel or complicate things... you can drop some bodyfat .. so keep pushing hard here...less fat will make you look harder....
