Having a belt is not a matter of strength. What it does is gives you something to brace your abs against to increase IAP thus creating a more stable core.
Interesting. You gonna use it on just heavy sets or for the entire workout?

Fuuuk I saw the belt on ******** man. You're going to love it so much. I literally have my belt to thank for lift maintenance on this prep. As I got that ethiopian waist it really helped me to overcome the changing leverages on my squat/deadlift (more so the squat).

    Also nice color. Rust?

I grabbed it off inzer's site.

Ran me for 120 (103 for shipping and the belt+17 in customs when it arrived last night). Not bad at all considering these things last forever (I frequently see people saying how they've had their inzer for 20+ years without an issue).

No leather, no care. I remember my dad's old synthetic belt and it feels so flimsy and unstable now lol.

I already love it haha. Dem bruised hips from practicing squats with a broomstick last night

Good to know about the help in maintenance. I just need to get myself some massive and to really rock the belt haha.

    THURSDAY

Don't care if I've posted it before. This song is magical wizardry BTK stuff.

    Press
    45x8
    70x5
    85x4
    110x3
    110x4 (2*sets)
Added belt cuz I couldn't get my core tight
    115x2.5PR

    Front Squats
    100x5
    130x5
    150x4 (2 sets)
Added belt on 2nd set of 150
    170x5 (2 sets)
    170x4.5
    Bar fell off me lulz

    DB Rows
One hand on the DB racks
    55x8
    75x5
    Add straps
    95x10 (3 sets)
Was only gonna try for 9. CUMATMEGAINS
Go in for a 4th set, cowboys aimed one....

    95x15
    BOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!
    Rowin like a MADMANNN
Pissing sweat at this point. Not stopping for anything

    DB Preacher Curl
    20x10 (2 sets)
    20x9

    50lb Farmers Walks
Gym wall to gym wall and back
    1.75 min rest
    3.4 sets
Got stuck behind some obnoxious slow mofo on the last set. GTFO MY WAY

    Facepulls
    Sadly, non adjustable pulley
    110x10
    No control
    100x12 (3 sets)
    Better

    Ab Wheel w Backpack
    17.5x12 (3 sets)

Pressing was decent considering I just said fuk it. Go heavy and prd front squats went well but I lost my tightness and te bar fell. 175 on Saturday.

DB rows were what blew me away. The sets of 10 were hard, but then I go in for a fourth set and cowboys came on and I just went full nitro mode. Don't even understand. Dont care. Owned that ****. 100s next time. BELIEVE IT.

One thing I have trouble with is keeping my abs/belt tight in the hole. Watdo?

math exam tomorrow. Hardest one. Own it.

Oh PUT THOSE DB ROWS ON IT, man. Get 'em.

Such a f'king underutilized movement and it gets you STRONG LIKE BULL. I do the hand on the rack just like that. You'll be able to clear the entire row of DBs. Muscleheads will watch you swinging 140lbs with their f'king jaws on the f'king floor.

Spent about 40 mins this evening coaching my dad through a workout of front squats, bench and rows. Fixing this kyphosis will probably be the am hardest part, but I've got a few ideas.

    He got 115x5x3 on squat
    95x5x3 on bench
Barx8x3 on row (just trying to get him to pull with his shoulder blades

    Form is coming along nicely

No. He only re-started lifting on Sunday and today was his second session. I'm teaching him form first and once that was good enough, I progress him in weight while maintaining decent form.

You'll have to experiment with different notch settings on the belt before you get it right. I can't even stress enough how tight it needs to be even while you're standing upright. As a general rule, when it gets so tight in the hole that you WANT to burst back up just to loosen it, that's when it's tight enough
