As you may (or may not) have noticed, the forums were updated. The aim is to make it faster / easier / better. But, as with all upgrades, there will be issues and bumps.
So - if you see anything / have any problems, in order to help get these messages to the people that need to know, you can post them here.
Some things that can be helpful in this?
* A detailed description of the problem - what they were doing when they had it, steps to repeat the problem, any error messages, etc
* A link to what they see when they have the problem (link to the thread or search results, or etc)
* A screen shot (if needed, depends on the problem)
* Their username
* The time and date the problem happened
* What browser they are using, what version, and what OS
Thanks.

I'm still having some problems and found a few things I just don't like about the changes, I've noticed a few things have been fixed since yesterday though. I'm running Windows Vista with IE7.
Ongoing issues:
-The yellow envelope symbol on the left of the posts is gone (the one indicating if you've posted in that thread before), so I'm really lost going through journals especially, because I can't easily find the ones I read daily or if new posts have been added since I've been there.
-This could be because I have an older laptop but this site now runs painfully slow. (I never have a problem on any other websites.)
-When you reply to a post it automatically throws you into Quick Reply which I hate, now I have to go to the extra Advanced step to preview my post. Sometimes when I go to Advanced the Reply box is gray and you can't type in it.
-The bars on top with UserCP are way too small. At first I thought there was no more UserCP.
-Every thread/category has a little area where it shows you the replies and view count (yes I remember this from before) but it's such a minor piece of information it should be moved off to the right side so it's there if you want it but not in the way.
-You can no longer see how many votes were counted and the average rating when you move the cursor over the stars.
-Everyone's name is now in bold. I know who the mods are so it doesn't confuse me, but they should have something different to indicate that they are. It's like cops in unmarked cars driving around and pulling people over.
-Personal preference - I hate that the rep power and bars are separated now. That's like putting everyone's height above their avi and their weight under it, very poor organization.
-Maybe I'm missing it but where is or why isn't there spell check? I always have to keep another window open to check up on anything I'm unsure of. Seriously you would think I'd know how to spell "rotisserie chicken" by now without double checking, but I don't.
Overall the layout is ok, people just need time to get used to it. I noticed the Dashboard did not change, thanks for that or I would be really lost. Also the Auto-Save function is a good idea.

I'm having trouble with it not showing threads that have replies since the last time I've been on. As soon as you click a thread, when you go back to the main sub-forum, it has everything marked as read since your last visit. (Not sure if that makes sense. I just woke up)
Also, some forums, like the female sub forum, shows everything as being read even though I haven't been on for well over 12 hours.

I will get stronger
when i search for my own posts even using the latest post option it still doesnt put all the threads that i posted in with the ones most recently posted in first. i think that makes sense.
While browsing on iPhone 4 (safari), large pictures are cut off horizontally, and when I try to click 2(or 3 or 4) to advance to another page instead of going a pop up opens saying 'jump to page _', and I have to press a second time to actually get to where I'm going.

- forums are much slower
- when repping someone the rep box appears partially under the following poster.
- replying to thread using the big blue button on the left - the text field appears grey and i cannot type into it
- grey text field i cannot type into when trying to PM someone
- no 'preview post' option, have to use 'go advanced'
- when editing post (like just now ) grey text field. when 'going back', the post does not appear published in the thread have to 'go forward', post can be edited

I'm seeing a lot of asterisks (*s) appearing in text at the start of sentences that seem unintentional. I'm not sure why the upgrade would/could cause it, but it's unusual...
Edit: wtf! So extra asterisks apparently appeared in the above after I clicked to post it. *I posted it with my iPad and it appeared as below, before editing (those weird sentence hugging * I didn't type).

Second edit: touché, forum. I'll just ignore those extra * now so I stop editing like an idiot...*

If you're using Internet Explorer the Enter button no longer works and your entire post will end up in one huge paragraph. The only thing I found to fix that was typing each one of my posts in MS Word first, then copy/paste.

Yes I hate the reply box doesn't show the formatting at all! and I don't like the smaller window for the reply either.
What happened to the Training, Journals, General Chat, and Misc sections?? They are gone from female bbing as of this morning.
EDIT: Ok, I see, you have to be logged in to get to those sections and the site just keeps logging me off for no apparent reason. Well that seems like a logical system.

I second the complaint about not being able to use "enter" to create additional line spacing. Extremely annoying. Who wants to read a 1,000 word paragraph?? Am I missing a shortcut?

Is anyone else having this weird issue----when I reply to a post, the cursor won't stay where I am typing, it will jump back up repeatedly to the top of the box... It only happens when I reply to someone else, not if I reply without quoting. But forget multi-quoting, the cursor just jumps around all over the place!!
I have actually stopped posting because I often can't without great effort.

yes, hard to copy and paste stuff where you want because of this, too. i have been typing text into word, then copying and pasting into the text box.
