Was on my feet for about 11 hours straight today...walking, and working....today at work was way too eventful but satisfying none the less.

Diet:

I don't think you want to know...srs.

Well rest from weights. My job has me on my feet the entire time and I decided it was a nice day outside so I walked there and back....which was a good idea, i'm just all tuckered out. My workouts also hit me hard today, will probably skip the gym again tomorrow.

Blah. not eating anymore tonight, screw it. I'll figure it out tomorrow lol.

Yep, I made them all. Recipe for those guys is:


Chock-Full of Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar
6 Tbsp granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
12 oz (2 cups) semi-sweet chocolate chips
12 oz (2 cups) milk chocolate chips

Directions
Position a rack in the middle of the oven. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Sift the flour, baking soda, and salt into a medium bowl and set aside.

In a large bowl, using an electric mixer on medium speed, beat the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smoothly blended, about 1 minute. Stop the mixer and scrape the sides of the bowl as needed during mixing. Add the egg and vanilla and mix until blended, about 1 minute. The mixture may look slightly curdled. On low speed, add the flour mixture, mixing just until it is incorporated. Mix in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

Use a Tablespoon to drop heaping spoonfuls of dough (about 3 level Tablespoons each) onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing the cookies 3 inches apart.

Bake the cookies one sheet at a time until the edges are lightly browned and the centers are golden, about 15 minutes. Cool the cookies on the baking sheets for 10 minutes. The cookies will flatten slightly as they cool. Use a wide metal spatula to transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.

The cookies can be stored in a tightly covered container at room temperature for up to 3 days.

Yesterday was painful man....if I have to drop to those macros ever, it's going to be volume > taste all day long lol. keep killing it, when is the cut over?

#2 - 12 oz chicken stuffed with asparagus, garlic, shallot and some spices + 12oz raspberries ($1.25 at the store!!)
#3 - 6ish TBA....I have some actual food packed for work thankfully.

Today was a weird day....I just got off work, it turned out to be a 12....wasn't on my feet quite as much -- work was fine but I don't know, sometimes i have to deal with some really depressing things and I feel temporarily thrown out of balance if that makes sense.

We actually just gave him to a friend in NC because he was driving us insane....dog barks, bird screams, dog barks, etc. I miss him a little but I don't miss the noise!!!

There he is! pretty bird deserves a cookie. That's a little sad that you had to give him away but seems for the best, stressful noise isn't good for any person or animal.

I hope it wasn't too dark, I'm guessing you appreciate the sun more as your day brightens .

-I've come to the conclusion that we wouldn't appreciate (or even know) that it was dark unless we have experienced sun...and during the sunny times it seems you can better determine what your actions need to be when there is no light.

Agreed...and it's nice because i have NO bosses. 1 guy I answer to that is about 400 miles away at an office lol, and I talk to him maybe 1 time per week when I send in my reports and we go over security footage.
