Just started prep a week ago currently 14 weeks out
question is im taking in275 to 300 grams of carbs a day, its mid week and ive gone from 204 at the start last week to 199.5 as of right now
all of my carbs are from oatmeal and whole wheat pasta
This is my first prep using carbs, the last prep i was no carb keto diet, so ive gone from no carbs at all to using up to 300 gram while still losing weight?
By the way im not using stims, fat burners or slin of any kind
am i on the right path?

Chances are some of that 4.5lb is water but if you continue to drop that sort of weight every week you may want to up the calories a bit.
To your question is 300 Carbs to much during prep, If you are dropping fat with 300 carbs and enough protein and fat then 300 Carbs is not too much. IMO you always want carbs as high as you can get them with still progressing in your goals (which in your case is losing fat).
Good luck with your prep.
Hope i could help!

It's tough to say. I agree with the above. I believe that most reasonable diets will work to a certain degree for just about anybody. Whether or not they are optimal for YOU to achieve a stage worthy physique is another matter.
Were you not as successful in your prep using keto as you wanted to be? What made you decide to switch to a more carb-heavy diet for this contest prep?

Dude....get a coach. I've followed your threads here and on Rx in the past and I just don't think you are capable of getting the results you want on your own. No offense, but w/ all the information that's available to you, I just don't see how you can have such a limited understanding of the general principles behind contest prep dieting.
The best decision you could make would be to hire a coach. You need to uninvolve yourself from the process and follow a plan you are given by an expert. You will learn a ton of information, and for once you can avoid spinning your wheels for months and months on an ineffective, imprecise and half-assed preparation.

your lucky bro! it sounds like your body handles carbs pretty well. mine other the other hand..doesn't..i'd venture a guess and say that you're prolly more of the skinny kid growin up..not the fat kid like this guy. anyways keep your carbs as high as you can and keep us updated. if you have any questions or anything shoot me a pm or post it on here...there's a lot of very intelligent people on here willin to give free advice

what about brown rice and potatos? it doesn't surprise me that you were skinny growin up haha i think you probably do handle carbs very well however when you went keto you made yourself significantly more carb sensitive since your body wasn't use to it on a regular basis. i'm always super carb sensitive when i come outta keto
