    How many times a week do you go to the gym?

    Hey guys im juat curious really how many times at the gym you go a week.

    I go 3 times a week, never sure if that's enough, especially if im doing them consecutively

    I train 6 days a week. That gives me enough time to train both weight and cardio splits with Sunday as a rest day for me. :-)

    I take a mandatory off day after I train (upper) back, and also the day after I train quads (which, even though I also have a hamstring day, the quad day obviously recruits the ham's heavily, as well as glutes). Seldom ever break that rule. Other than that, I take an off day when I feel I need it.

    My schedule is totally independent of the 7-day week, but I track what I work on a calendar. Looks like I vary from a minimum of 3, to a maximum of 5. 4 might be an average, but it's tough to say, since there's no real pattern. It all depends on how I feel, biochemically. No point in going to the gym, if I'm over-taxed.

    3 gym visits, 3 cardio days. Always one complete day off (generally Sunday, but I'm not picky). Sometimes I'll switch a run for some conditioning drills or working on throwing.

    Some people say resting is the hardest exercise. I've never seemed to be able to get it down right..

    So, instead of doing like your usual 80% intensity, you only do like 50-60%?

    On average it comes out about 9 hours a week in a gym w/o walking to/from, taking a shower, dressing up etc
