How painful is being burnt alive?
putting gasoline all over you and light it up,
how much does that hurt? say after 1-3mins would you still be in pain or already dead?

not as much as being negged

Soon to be former fatty
I figure you'd go into shock pretty quickly, but it's not just the pain on the skin. Inhaling burning gasoline fumes is probably not fun.
Oh, yeah, and negged.
Yes I'm fat, but at least I'm working on it, unlike most other fatties. No self-delusion, no excuses.

i knew a kid in highschool who killed himself in the middle of his driveway while his father was working on a car, by dumping gas on himself and lighting himself on fire.
could never imagine what he was going through to do that to himself and his family
Yes... come and let us make an end of it. It matters not, even cornered, to my last breath... I remain who and what I am. I will not hide, nor tremble, nor beg. Let them come and reckon with fury that is DOOM defiant.

Form follows function
Supposedly shortly after the fire starts all the nerve endings burn off and it becomes painless.
I don't want to find out of course.
-
i'll make it fit
it would probably hurt for a while, after which the nerve endings would be burnt off. no nerve endings = no pain.

I've heard you can't actually scream while burning alive because the fire eats up the oxygen in your lungs.
Anyone know if that's just urban legend?

Sure you can take some drugs that will make this whole experience like a trip to disneyland.

In before OP burns himself.
It would hurt worse than anything for a while. After that, you're nerves are toast and you don't feel much.
Death results as you suffocate on the fluid released from your lungs and oxygen transport becomes impossible due to damage/fluid.

There's a video on the net somewhere (that was posted on the misc not so long ago) showing a Kenyan being burned alive for stealing potatoes (I think) and he was howling in pain if I remember.

Strong cut.
I heard it only hurts for a bit and then all your nerve endings get burnt and you don't feel anything.
So I assume it would initially hurt like crazy but then it would be okay.

probably die due to suffocation first
