Each character has different versions, but it is pretty much generally accepted that Wolvie has become near-immortal. Survived atomic explosion, was just a skeleton.

Was in a recent mini-series IIRC. I don't read as much as I used too. But see my previous post about Magneto. Wolverine had his entire skeleton ripped out of his body. His healing powers were dampened for a while, but he survived.
