Yes, there are a number of pills and insoles and such that are probably garbage. However, I've also heard people have had success in growing an inch or two taller by stretching, hanging from a bar, swimming, etc. I found a couple books on Amazon.com, including the one I posted below, that have some good reviews from adults (even though the majority of the book is probably geared toward children and teens). Has anyone had an experience with this? The book is expensive and I'm not looking to waste my time and money. Thanks!

OP people get 'taller' from stretching because they stretch out their spine... They'll lose that height the very next time they spend a few hours walking around.
If you measure yourself in the morning you'll be 1-1.5" taller then when you measure yourself in the evening. Its not because you got taller while you slept, its because your spine decompressed while you were laying vertical.
After your growth plates close, the only way to get taller is expensive and painful surgery where the bone is broken and stretched as it is healing, but during this process you'll be in a bed/wheelchair for a year or two.Except for combating and limiting the implementation and spreading of Slavery, Fascism, Nazism and Communism, war has never solved anything.

You just have to be the way you were meant to be. Sure it can suck to be short at times, but there are many benefits as well. Learn to accept yourself and avoid so many complicated surgeries over how far you stand off the ground. Weight/body composition change>height change.Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. ~Proverbs 3:5-6

Once the growth plates in your skeletal structure harden it is impossible for your body to grow any taller. This happens around the age of 21 for most people. No pill, book, or anything else will change this. If you take HGH before your growth plates harden you could increase your height. People considered to be giants usually have a condition that causes their pituatary gland to release an increased amount of HGH. They continue to grow until surgical/medical intervention or they die because because their organs can no longer accomidate their increasing body size.
So pretty much, if you are a grown man then you will never grow any taller. Period.
