is melting stevia or artificial sweetners okay when cooking/baking? never done it before so i dunno. im not really concerned with the controversy, i just want to know if there are any adverse effects related to MeLTING the stuff.

stevia seems to lose its sweetness and go bitter when heated. your best bet if you are cooking with a sweetener is to use splenda.
