If it is any music that is worth a shi.t YouTube will block the whole video. You can upload a video and add music they provide though, it is just tough finding something that doesn't suck.

I just use the basic Windows movie maker to edit my vids.

But alas, I am not ftw, so I guess you can ignore this post.

But if I wanted to chance it, in theory Movie Maker will let me do that? Is it pretty easy to learn?

Yes easy, but even with Movie Maker YouTube has recognition software that will eliminate the music within a minute or two if its major label music.

Yup. Open the video you want to add it to and select add music/sound and voila, it's there. Just save it and your good. You can adjust where it starts as well and fade out at the end pretty easily too.

If it is something you want to do regularly you can get software that adjusts the speed of the song that might keep YouTube from recognizing it and blocking it, but that is a bit more work.

Just upload it without sound and check out what YouTube has to offer. They have a bunch of music from different genres and there might be something that isn't horrible.

There was a kid in the Misc that weighs 200+lbs that posted a video of him DL'ing 500 x 10 or something with straps, and a bounce at the bottom. Me and FTW trolled him for wearing straps. Him and several other people stated that neither of us could even pull 500 for 1 rep and told us to gtfo.

I always wondered why your FIT vids always looked pretty good.

I could make even better vids but the more advanced **** takes time and I kind of got sick of making these ridiculous videos only to have people just be like "oh cool" so I just keep it simple. I did buy a new camera which should be here by the end of the week though, so I'm pretty excited about that.

i hit 425 before i stopped lifting heavy for the rest of the year

Thanks brah. It blows my mind how many really smart fitness professionals make videos that the production is so ****ty that you don't even want to watch it. The first thing they drill into your head when you go to school for that **** is that audio is what separates the good videos from the bad ones. I'm pumped cuz my new camera has XLR inputs so I can run pro mics, cuz the camera we use at the gym now is just a ****ty camcorder and the natural audio isn't the greatest.

so i almost never get sick. and recently i have had 3 rapid fire upper respiratory infections. Needless to say i was worried. Im not as active as i was in recent years but i was still exercising 10hrs a week minimum.
