    is 225 lbs a good atg squat weight for reps?

    i just did atg squats for the first time a couple days ago, and did it with 4 sets of 8 reps with 185 lbs feelsbadman.jpg. i can hit 315 for reps at parallel, but i'm just wondering what a decent weight for reps is at atg.

    I've done 225 x 15 ATG, wanted to puke

    Then did 315 x 10 parallel/slightly above (aka 95% ppls form), felt nothing like ATG with 225.

    Cliffs: Stick to ATG, weight dosen't matter.
    If there's no enemy within, the enemy outside can do us no harm.

    Current lifts (2015)
    Bench 260
    Squat 370
    Deadlift 475

    switched to ATG front squats.. supersetted with lunges with a trainer last week..

    did it with the bar only and it's a lot harder than normal *** squats.. Results come from dying under the weight.

    i keep gettingn pain in my calves when i do atg. i dont know whats going on.
    right now im at 155x5 atg but i know i can do more if my calves werent in pain every time i squatted.

    8x185> 315 quarter squats

    Be consistent and the weight will quickly go up. Ass to grass feels good man.

    no matter how much you are lifting there is somone warming up with it. dont aim to be the guy with a "decent squat" aim to be the guy warming up with a decent squat. same in all aspects of life
