Bane looked like a normal jacked guy when he wasnt taking venom, he used to workout in jail and fight the other inmates. It only when he takes venom he turns into a giant muscle mutant. So tom hardy should be good as bane, they will probably CGI when he turns into a huge mutant, if they dont then that is just gay.

Highly doubt Nolan wants some hulk looking dude running around...

Heath Ledger pulled it off greatly, but lettuce be real tea. Heath Ledger did a ****ing great performance, anyone that can't see that is just a naysayer because they think it'll make them cool and different than everyone else.

However, in Batman Begins, Liam Neeson made a good ra's al ghul, but nothing superb like Ledger's Joker. So, at best, you can expect a 3rd film on par with the first. Good, but with no breakout actors. I'm sure Hardy will make a decent/good Bane, but... lettuce be real tea. Ledger was great, and he made the second one epic. Hardy won't repeat this level of breakout performance. It could be a good movie, but I doubt it will be equal or better than the Dark Knight.

Hardy doesn't look the part, but some creative clothing choices, forced perspective, and post-production will make it come together. Most of you are jumping the gun after seeing one teaser pic.

Bronson was truly a great movie. Made me laugh when he had those damn glasses looking like the Monopoly guy and making the guard oil him up for the fight. Good movie overall. Great performance.

How do you know if he's even using Venom at this point during the movie?

For any of you who haven't managed to figure it out yet, these pics are from the Blackgate Prison Break scene and I highly doubt that at this point, that Bane has used Venom, and if he has he's fully clothed which means that have the intention of altering him in post production.


When Bane uses Venom he's not very big. You guys are idiots jumping the gun like this. Nolan has done Batman justice in his first two films by staying true to the origins and portraying it accurately (at least more than anybody who has made Batman film adaptation) and realistically.

I'm sure he's not totally oblivious and stupid to not know that Bane is supposed to be huge. Chill the fuk out
