Too many choices now! I like those too. I suppose if I never have to buy another pair the price is worth it.
and yay!!

I have an open patella sleeve too... But I only wore it when I had a knee injury.
You may want something that's fully enclosed to keep the knees warm.
And yea those sleeves can get smelly if u don't wash it often lol I wash every week and air them out durin week.
I would go with the the rhebands looks like a good price in that link.Last edited by Romina81; 12-03-2012 at 10:03 AM.

I've heard that the Titans have a problem with tearing but I don't have a pair myself to say for sure.

Good. Now we can be twins.....I will of course be the pretty one.....
Seriously though....I'm cute
EDIT: Those bad boys are 7mm of neoprene and your knees will just love them. I like to wear them on my calves when I bench (garage lifter) in the winter just for extra warmth.Better Body Sports

Wednesday 12/5/12
Felt really weak today, TOM is coming up. I did 5 BW pullups upon walking in and they were hard. I knew I was in trouble. I hit my required increase on the OH press and everything is else is either random or just to get some work in.
OH press
60x5 (x3)
Snatch deadlift (been wanting to try these, might rotate them in, I liked them a lot)
135x5(x2)
Front Squat
95x5(x4)
DB row <- these were supposed to be BB, but that sounded too hard.
50x10x3
Shrugs
45sx10x3
Chins
15x3(x3)
*Lol. I did 25lb last time.
Shoulder rehab/curls/front raises
10sx10x3/15sx12x3/12sx10x3
Schedule is weird this week, so lifting is happening T/W/R. Supposed to squat tomorrow. We'll see how that goes....Last edited by tina722; 12-05-2012 at 06:15 AM.

Thursday 12/6/12
Moving into an advance novice squat program. Increases done 2x/week and one recovery day for squats. Gonna put off TM a little bit longer if I can still keep these increases.
Recovery Day Squats
5@95, 135, 155 (x2)
*felt soo good. and I love that recovery squats are the weight that I began with 3 weeks ago.
Hyperextensions
12@BW, 25, 35
Decline Situps
3x12@BW
*lol. weak abs
Handstands
*lol. these felt weak too.
Rest day tomorrow and then back on the squats on Saturday. Hopefully will be training in a different/new gym. I think it's crossfit orientated though. Should be interesting. Trying to decide what squat weight to do, maybe 185 for 3x5 and try to get out of the ramping up (ie. do 190 for 3x5 next, then 195...).http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=172554141

It's starting strength with some modifications.
I had been increasing the weights for squats 3x/week for the last 3 weeks (beginning or novice program). I'm going to drop back to 2x/week weight increases (advance novice). Texas Method will have me doing 1x/week weight increase (intermediate).
I have high hopes on the gym!http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=172554141

Saturday 12/8/12
Gym was shut down? Just saw people there the other week, but building was closed and number was disconnected. Back to 24hr.
Back squats:
95x5, 115x5, 135x5, 155x5, 175x5
185x5 <- soo heavy and hard
185x3(x5)
* switched it around to get same volume, could not make myself hit 5 reps
* depth was good on most
Deads (conventional)
1@185, 205, 235, 255
* felt a little happier after this, squats put me in a bad mood, but this is the heaviest I've gone in a while
RDLs
3x10@ 135
Pullups
BWx5 (x4)
OHP
2x8@55
Lateral raises
4x8@15
Lots of shoulder rehab/curls
Knee sleeves came in! So this was the last training session without them.Last edited by tina722; 12-09-2012 at 04:55 AM.

Just a note to add: Weight hasn't increased and I've been taking bodyform mostly on my rest days for the last ~month. I'm going to increase food amounts on lifting days - being sure to get 2800 and even up to 3000cals.
I'll be traveling for the holidays (19-26th), so will take a break from bodyform/training at that point.
And, I know I said I wasn't crazy. But I've been motivated to take on a 21-day squat challenge. There's another female doing it atm, and I feel like I want to try it out too. I would have time bw 27th of this month until the 18th of next month, so may try to fit it in there. Anyone else feel like joining? Parameters are still to be decided upon.http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=172554141

Not sure if you're making depth: you seem to be 'making up' for it by tilting it forward.
Maybe GM Squats will help fine tune form.First time order at iHerb.com? I got this discount code: EKE466. Will give you 10,- off on any order over 40$, 5 on any order under..

Hi Tina
On all but last hit parallel. Not sure if you were going for slightly below parallel.
I also see the forward lean but it's not horrible def not a srs Good Morning just something you'll wanna correct.
No advise from me but I did a quick youtube search
@3:50 He talks about - driving head up / head back as you come out of the bottom
Maybe that or some of the other tips will be helpful in any case all in all Good Job.
Also think I saw running shoe so perhaps flat soled shoes might help as well.

Nom, B - Thanks for the comments. Yea, I think both issues have been present in most videos - i'll keep working on it. Parallel is good, if I hit it, just below parallel would be better.
I've looked up the GM squats and I'll give them a try.
Thanks for the youtube also, I still need to listen to it, but the whole video and maybe even the whole series should be helpful.
Regarding head up/eyes up, some questions. Rippetoe says keep head down and eyes down. Is it just whatever the lifter likes best, or should one be used over the other? I used to do eyes up, but have tried using eyes/head down over the last few workouts. I haven't noticed that one 'works better' but don't have a lot of experience with looking down.http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=172554141
