Brain brah....by far. Hell, people can even build artificial hearts .... but it will be awhile before we can build an artificial brain anywhere near the capacity of the human brain.
It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.

If you had an artificial heart but no brain, you never could have posted this poll.
It's in the last place you will look.

thanks for the responses!!!
It has always been a philosophical question that had me wondering. Obviously our brain sets us apart from any other creature on earth. Though one slight mistimed beat can put put you 6ft under, we all see people with half a brain make it through daily life lol.
The question was supposed to be technology aside (computers, artificial hearts etc) or anything to aid in the function of the two.
It's quite funny how most take it for granted when you think of all the quick decisions and actions our brains control on a second by second basis, and on the flip side, a healthy heart beating less than a second apart 24/7 with perfect timing pumping and recirculating blood throughout our bodies.

But the heart is a simple pump. Muscle divided into 4 chambers with a couple of valves keeping the blood flowing in the correct direction. Heart beat is a simple electrical impulse that originates within the heart itself. Pretty simple and straight forward. We can even take a malfunctioning heart out and replace it with a different one. The heart itself isn't the fail point it's the vessels surrounding and nourishing the heart or the electrical pathways that control the heart that fail most often.
The brain on the other hand is so complex we don't use most of it let alone understand it.

That one is easy. The brain, Mother Nature knew we would have the tax code in our future.
