What i think nolan will do.

- In the beginning of the movie, Have a back-story on Bane growing up, and then releasing the criminals from arkham.
- In the middle of the movie, batman will take down said criminals and then fight bane in the batcave.
- Batman will get beaten badly, and bane will take over gothom.
- While batman heals, he passes on the batman mantle to azreul or whatever the dude's name is.
- Azreul goes crazy with power, kills innocents, but eventually kills bane.
- Bruce recovers, and isn't happy with what Azreul has done, so he gets all his bat ****, and has an epic battle with Azreul.
- Batman kicks Azreul ass ( Mainly to please the crowd, people would go bat**** if batman didn't return)
- Gordon gives some speech about how power can make people go crazy, and then movie ends.

To all you hatin on Bane's size:
I'd rather have a quality actor like Hardy to portray Bane instead of some juiced up random actor. And like has already been said before, Nolan does this Batman series based on reality, not the fiction comic book series. So you are not going to see some ridiculously huge mother ****er just tearing **** up. That being said, we really didn't get a good look at what Bane actually looks like, just a back view and the random flash of his face. We really don't know how big he actually is yet considering the movie is due to be released next summer. Wait until the actual trailer comes out and they reveal more of Bane and Catwoman before you make your harsh judgments.

Spiderman 3 was a piece of **** movie and it would have sucked even if the guy who played Venom was roided out of his mind.


And lettuce be reality, a lot can be accomplished with camera tricks alone. You know that in the Lord of the Rings, the Hobbits were not made small with CGI. They were made to look smaller with camera tricks and props (forced perspective).



Nolan has proven that he can make some visually stunning movies. Combine this kind of cinematography with whatever CGI he can come up with, and I have no doubt that they can easily make Bane look much more physically imposing than the actor playing him.

I was thinking they might do the perspective thing. But there's a difference between Frodo sitting near the camera talking to Gandalf across the room, and Bane and Batman getting in fisticuffs, unless they use some sort of stunt doubt or platform shoes.

Also as much as people will hate to hear this. Hardy has got GOOD size. He has a very solid trap shoulder "yoked" look. This really helps create the illusion that hes bigger than he actually is. Look at him in Bronson or his new movie warrior..

Camera angles etc. will most likely make Hardy/Bane appear taller and more intimidating.

edit: I also want bane to be mad jacked, but they cant overdue it here because Nolan has a very reality based approach to these films as has been mentioned so it needs to look and feel authentic. Not an IFBB pro, just a big dude who can mess people up with his strength and size. Need a quality actor obviously also. all this has been mentioned before.

They should have used the special effects like in Benjamin Button. That movie convincingly made Brad Pitt a 4 and a half foot wrinkly old man. All they had to do was get a huge guy to play Bane, then graft the actors face. Since Bane is supposed to wear a Mask, they could have even just had a good actor do the voice. Like Darth Vader. Vader was played by a huge bodybuilder, but then they got a good actor to do the voice, and the result was the best villain ever.
