Well everybody else is doing it, lol. I'm sure some of you guys have already hit this, but I am a relative newb (about 3.5 months) and it's definitely a goal for me. Since we can't really confirm how heavy the stone is, we have to go with the honesty card, lol.
Minimum load height (to a platform or a bar) is 48".
I think that is about all, gotta have a video of course, if I am missing anything, tell me.
My best so far is a 325lb stone to 50".

That was nice man, you could of loaded that higher for sure. You are the frontrunner right now.
Yeah we will have to be very trusting, since there isn't anything on the line as far as prizes go, I am hoping we will be honest. Also since sometimes stones come out a little bit off, if you have like a 398lb stone or something, I think we will count that. I added a current list at the start of this thread, so feel free to post up new prs even if it isn't a 400lber.

Holy crap you guys are beasts. I've only tried atlas stones on 2 occassions before. First time I could only work up to the 165 lbs stone. And the second time I could only work up to the 205 lbs stone. Good job fellas.

You need to keep your arms dry. I stand in front of a fan until my arms are dry, and continue to apply it in front of the fan. If it's really bad, try wrapping your forearms in athletic tap.
If you're running out of tacky mid-run, most strongmen will keep an extra glob on the back of their hand, outside of the bicep, etc (anywhere that's easily accesible, but won't stick to anything during the lift), so that it can be applied quickly without having to get the jar out.

I keep the glob on the back of my hand but I literally sweat the tacky off of both my hands during the run and when I go to reapply on the 4th stone the tacky won't take to my hands because they are so sweaty.
Here is a vid from my last contest with stones.
260 over a 48" bar in 60 sec
Here is more what I'm talking about...205, 225 and 250 go up easy. When I get to the 300, it turns into a ball of glass. (This load was to 54" before someone calls BS on my loading a 300 to 48" )

I am in. My current best is 375 to 54". Trying to get a video now. Have to sweet talk one of my training partners into uploading it. I'm currently stuck on a 385 stone.

Lol... I'm not sure that will ever happen. Stones suck balls through the summer. I'm good through my warmups, but then I start to sweat and everything goes to hell pretty quickly. I'm not having any luck getting my training partner to upload the video, so I'll try to get some vids this weekend if nothing else. I'm very consistent at 375, so I'll get another vid of that, if not the 385 (I've almost got it lapped, and if I can lap it I can load it).
BTW, you long armed mutherfcukers can bite me. You know how hard it is to wrap my little t-rex arms around a 21-22" stone? Not to mention how hard it is to hit a high load. I have hit 315 to 58", but that is a hell of a stretch for me.
Edit: if you look through my profile vids, I do have an old video from when I was just starting to be able to load the 350 stone.GoRuck Challenge Journal: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=150446113

Just providing a bump here:
Saturday was very humid, and despite my hopes that an underlayer of 3M vetwrap might help keep me from sweating through my tape, it just didn't happen. I would love to hear some creative ways to beat the humidity. I've tried standing in front of a fan, but frankly it is so humid out that it is a little like standing in the blast of a humidifier and hoping that the moving air might help to dry you up. My true intention was to knock out stones first, before I worked up an epic sweat that couldn't be stopped by anyone just short of Moses (it's Sunday and I thought I would try to work in at least one biblical water stoppage reference).
So stones wound out like this:
230 x 3 to 61" Lots of pop, no issues.
275 x 1 to 54" Still warming up.
275 x 1 to 57" Feels good, was considering loading up to the 61" platform when I notice the first signs of tape slippage.
290 x 2 to 50" Feels solid, still getting lots of speed and height on my load.
325 x 2 to 50" Still solid.
350 to 50" x 2 First rep, my tape slips pretty badly and I end up catching the stone in an ATG squat. Not a problem, but I'm absolutely soaked with sweat by this point and I just know I'm not going to be working heavier than this. I manage a second rep but again I barely catch it between my knees as I slip off the stone.
I probably would have been just as smart to stay with some high loads with lighter weights for the day, but I was really looking forward to at least making an attempt at my 380 stone. Didn't end up getting any training video as half of our training group left to go do grip training about 5 minutes down the road, and I couldn't see manhandling my new camera with tacky covered hands. This week I will try to upload some "tackyless" training from the past couple weeks and I will try to badger my training partner into uploading my 375 load video. You would think he would do it just to shut me upGoRuck Challenge Journal: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=150446113
