Does your body burn excess calories to repair muscle? Like, when you workout you tear the muscle, and then it repairs itself bigger.
So my question is: If I worked out today, will I burn more calories tomorrow simply because my muscles are repairing? Sort of like an after-workout calorie burn effect?
