Welp, finished up second and final Natural show for this competitive season and figured I'd throw up some pictures!
First division (Men's Intermediate) I came 3rd.
This was great because I placed... But bad because there were only three people.
Second Division (Opens) I came in 6th, but had the same problem as my first division - Essentially I came in last!
Despite this, I still netted myself two trophies and I was stoked. I couldn't work out why I was so happy to be walking away with two trophies that were pretty much defunct in placing value, but when I got home and washed the tan off I worked it all out.
The trophies have no placing value to me. None really at all. What they do represent though is hard work and dedication and so with that in mind I've put them up on my mantel place to show off proudly; not for the place given to me, rather the desire and will I have inside to pursue something that most people wouldn't, and more importantly, couldn't do.
Time to reverse back up, and put on some size!
Sorry for the long ramble, its been one of those days

Before they ban me again for trolling the misc section
I m turning 20 yo in 20 days. Weight is around a solid 220 at the moment. Should I diet it down and try doing a show? Or just keep putting on more size in order to be competitive at respectable level showLast edited by napa1m; 11-04-2014 at 05:40 AM.

I'm more of a lurker here than a regular (although I read everything here). Below are my progress pics from the time I started reading this forum (March/April 2013) up until now:
One year progress (November 2013 - Now):
I've never been lean before, so I'm currently cutting lol. Would like to hit 10-12%. I'm guessing I'm somewhere around 17-18% now.
Seeing pics of you guys sure is motivating, I'm hoping I can be at that level one day.

Thanks! Belgium indeed, one the few Belgians on these boards lol (lots of Dutch people though).
Thanks! I'm slowly figuring out what works best for me for different bodyparts.. I'm doing 531 with the boring but big accessory lifts, but I'm gonna change back to a 5X5 type of program for benching. I must say the leg "gains" came with a price, lots of stretch marks on my inner thighs and glutes And for some reason also on my left biceps lol. I seem very prone to them, despite being well hydrated/having the micronutrients in order. My uncle who used to lift back in the day (and was pretty big) never got them fml

Read up on dieting and training, don't get caught in hypes, simplicity will always be best, don't juice too soon (srs) and if you start, never ask juice advice from a dealer (srs), be consistent, it's an exact science if you're consistent, spend your money on quality foods, not on bull**** supplements
