    Time to Bulk?

    Hi everyone. I am looking for advice on if you believe I should start Bulking or continue to cut in order to lose more weight.

    Right now I am:

    Height: 6'2
    Weight:82.5kg (181lbs)
    Body fat %: 19

    I have been going to the gym and lifting weights about 5 times a week.

    Do you think it would be a good time to bulk? or should I lose more weight before bulking?

    I would start building some mass. Eat, lift, and try not to gain fat. Cut later.
    Iron, sometimes it sets my teeth on edge, other times it helps me control the chaos.

    I was thinking about cutting for another week and starting a bulk to gain some mass when uni starts up again. But when I bulk I want to gain as little fat as possible, any suggestions on how to do this?

    You're 19% bodyfat. Why on earth would you bulk? Drop 10 pounds before you even think about it. Or, don't, and get fatter.

    No offense m8 but you need to start lifting as you look like you've not lifted a weight. I'm 6.2 and 220lbs and 20.5% body fat and I look alot more proportion than you I'n your pics (not to sound like a douche) start lifting heavy now and just eat at maintenance a good weight for true 6.2 is about 95kg to 100kg all muscle. START LIFTING NOW!

    Ok thanks for the advice fellas.

    So the best course of action im looking at is a) Continuing to cut, or b) eating at maintenace while lifing heavier to try and gain mass??

    B)might be good for a month or two--you'll lean out some and probably build some mass.


    You are too fat, I think, for a frank bulk to be much good. It's just gonna be more fat you have to get rid of.

    Deffo the best course of action to take I recon you will see progress and that will spur you on. 8-12 weeks then do the same on a cut. That is if you can manage to cut over Xmas.... I know I carnt lol

    looks to me like you should bulk. youre fairly skinny, not very defined, but skinny. seems to me you are fairly new, and cutting that extra couple pounds before your bulk seems to me like it would be pointless as your going to more than likely put some fat back on when you bulk anyway.

    im no expert. just one guys opinion.

    Lol at the people telling the newbie with almost 20% bodyfat to bulk.

    At his level of training he can expect to make decent muscle gains on a cut. Regardless of skinnyfat, I'd never recommend someone over 15% to bulk.
