    I was starting to enjoy squatting again as well . It's really weird too... It doesn't hurt while squatting but then it starts to hurt maybe an hour or two afterwards, then in the morning the next day it's even worse. Sucks balls mate

    Could you get a vid of your DL form one time? Man, I'm so frustrated when it comes to DL's. Can't maintain proper form to save my bloody life, did you have this problem when you first started? Seeing as you're 6'3" and I'm 6'4". Pretty close to just quitting deadlift -_-

    Not at the moment, but when I first noticed the injury coming back I definitely felt it when I was initiating the pull. Not enough to not deadlift though, it's just squats that really aggravate it.

    I'm in the same boat mate! My form is nothing to write home about and it gets pretty bad when I'm maxing. Take a look at my 260kg DL for instance...


    I think my form has improved a bit since then but it's far from perfect. I could do with a lot of help myself!

    I'm back!! We moved into a new house so we only got wifi hooked up today. I've been training a bit, just doing SS with Madcow deads mixed in. Still not squatting... I'm going to Switzerland to ski for a week on Saturday so I didn't want to try before then in case I got injured or something. Will probably give it a shot once I'm back.

    Anyway to tonight's workout:

    Bench was alright, 5th rep on all sets was a bit slow but otherwise fine.

    Deads were kinda hard. This gym has nice round plates at least! No more ****ty hex plates.

    Wasn't too bad... I'm going to Latvia tomorrow till Monday. Going to ask KK for some DL tips. 600 will be a piece of piss next week!

    Been lifting semi casually for the past couple of months. Had about a 3-4 week break (more laziness) over Christmas and am starting to get back into it. Will start logging again, hopefully keep it up!

    Squats and bench were easier than last week. Even though I didn't step foot in a gym or exercise for 10 months, my quad injury is back. Not bad enough to not squat yet, but good chance it'll get worse as the weight goes up.

    So I've moved back to Aussieland and am back at the gym so thought I'd start up my log. Plus, as the weight have been light and forgettable, I've been struggling to remember wtf I did last session so hopefully this will help me remember!

    Doing Start Strength at the moment and probably will be another 3-4 weeks.

    Tonight's workout:

    BW is 98.5kg

    Training with my missus, so will quickly log her workout too.

    3x12 with 15kg bar

    3x7 with 25kg

    Assisted Pullups
    3x11 with 85kg (she only weighs 60kg so not sure how this works).

    Back Extensions
    2 set of 12 with 5kg
    1 set of 8 with 7kg

    Ab Wheel
    3x7 with BW
