That's the plan mate!!
I was starting to enjoy squatting again as well . It's really weird too... It doesn't hurt while squatting but then it starts to hurt maybe an hour or two afterwards, then in the morning the next day it's even worse. Sucks balls mateMy Madcow Journal - http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=136450181

Bench was pretty easy. Took my grip out wider and there was no shoulder discomfort at all. Same on dips as well, could go fairly deep today.
Will be doing Madcow deads on the SS DL day as I'm not squatting. Figured I could cope... We shall seeMy Madcow Journal - http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=136450181

Chit day. Shouldn't have added 5kg to the OHP... Should've just kept it at 2.5kg. Will repeat next week.
Miscalculated the weights for rows on the first set. Put on 10kg too much. Was wondering why it was so fkn heavy.
Think I may start doing pull ups every session now. I was starting to get decent at them (for once) a few months ago when I was.My Madcow Journal - http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=136450181

Could you get a vid of your DL form one time? Man, I'm so frustrated when it comes to DL's. Can't maintain proper form to save my bloody life, did you have this problem when you first started? Seeing as you're 6'3" and I'm 6'4". Pretty close to just quitting deadlift -_-

Not at the moment, but when I first noticed the injury coming back I definitely felt it when I was initiating the pull. Not enough to not deadlift though, it's just squats that really aggravate it.
I'm in the same boat mate! My form is nothing to write home about and it gets pretty bad when I'm maxing. Take a look at my 260kg DL for instance...
I think my form has improved a bit since then but it's far from perfect. I could do with a lot of help myself! My Madcow Journal - http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=136450181

Been a fkn hectic week so haven't been able to hit the gym. Been working till about 9pm every night and just couldn't be bothered going anywhere but home after that. That and I'm in the process of moving, again. Good thing is, is that I'll be in a more central location so hopefully be able to choose a better gym.My Madcow Journal - http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=136450181

I'm back!! We moved into a new house so we only got wifi hooked up today. I've been training a bit, just doing SS with Madcow deads mixed in. Still not squatting... I'm going to Switzerland to ski for a week on Saturday so I didn't want to try before then in case I got injured or something. Will probably give it a shot once I'm back.
Anyway to tonight's workout:
Bench
warmup
3x5 with 100kg (220lbs)
Deads
120x5
145x5
170x5
195x5 (429lbs)
Pull Ups
3x5 with BW + 5kg
Notes
Bench was alright, 5th rep on all sets was a bit slow but otherwise fine.
Deads were kinda hard. This gym has nice round plates at least! No more ****ty hex plates.
Cheers mate! It went well. Now living in central London
Yeah it's a bit better. Me hoping to find a better gym since I was living pretty central didn't really workout. Just the same sort of ****ty commercial gym, just more of them.
I'm lifting mate!!!My Madcow Journal - http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=136450181

Been lifting semi casually for the past couple of months. Had about a 3-4 week break (more laziness) over Christmas and am starting to get back into it. Will start logging again, hopefully keep it up!

100kgx3 was alright, been adding 5kg a week to it. Prob start adding 2.5kg as the gainz are slowing.

Squats and bench were easier than last week. Even though I didn't step foot in a gym or exercise for 10 months, my quad injury is back. Not bad enough to not squat yet, but good chance it'll get worse as the weight goes up.
