Personally I think your ass looks a bit high, and its hard to know really by the vid, but it looks like you could take in more air / stay tighter before the lift. I like to fill up with air before I drop my ass into a pulling position.
also you have ditched the bar roll you used to do, perhaps that is throwing you off a bit. I could see how the roll might help you get "under" it a bit more.

I think my ass is in a good position for me. If I lower it any further it just shoots straight back up when I pull.
I do take in a massive breath of air before I pull. If it was quiet in the gym, you'd hear.
I do need to work on my tightness though. I'm a lot more tight now than I was a couple months back. Also need to work on keeping the bar travelling up my legs the whole way. You can see it gets away from me on a few reps.
Can't do the bar roll with these plates even if I wanted to They're covered in rubber and most of them have massive chunks missing so they're not round! some of them are almost as bad as hex plates. Hard to roll them!My Madcow Journal - http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=136450181

Nice deads mate, I reckon hips are in good position. Pretty similar to my form tbh, when you get to the heavier weight you will probably naturally drop your hips a bit lower any way to allow for more leg drive.
Looks like you've improved your hip drive a lot which is good!! All that smash and dash doing ya good mate bahahStrength is more useful than weakness.

only reason I say the ass is a bit high is, if you pause your first vid @ 0:40 you look very hunched, was thinking if you got your ass lower to start it would give your back an easyer angle to deal with and wouldnt hunch over as much. But upper back = rounding IMO.

Yeah, I agree.. There's def too much rounding. Don't think I'll ever be able to pull without some rounding in my upper though.
I dunno, at least things are feeling better and improving a bit. It's starting to look like one movement, instead of two movements. Just need to sort out the rounding now!
Next week I'll go for 3 sets of 5 with 420lbs and record my last set again. We'll see how bad it looks thenMy Madcow Journal - http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=136450181

Back to training after almost two weeks off. Was meant to start up training Wed and Fri last week but my bike was fkd so couldn't get to the gym.
Lost a lot of strength on squats. Not surprised though... Hardly ate when I was in Hungary. Just beer and more beers. Bench was surprisingly easy though.

God damn. Was on a roll with deads before. Did 3x5 a couple of weeks ago easily... I reckon I would've gone pretty far this round if I didn't **** it up by travelling. Barely managed 1x5 this week with the same weight. It's all the program asked for but the 3x5 was working a treat. I think I'll drop the weight next week to something I can manage the 3x5 comfortably and then go from there. I dont have any travel plans for at least 8 weeks so hopefully I can some good progress in!My Madcow Journal - http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=136450181

Squats were a bit tough again. Came REALLY far onto my toes on the second rep, almost lost the bar over my head. It was ugly as fuk. Brought it back together for the 3rd and finished nicely.
Bench was easy as hell which doesn;t make much sense considering how much ive lost on my squat. Usually bench suffers the most. Oh well

Well after the HARD squats and EASY bench on Friday, I was expecting bench to be easy and squats to be hard again but nope. For some reason squats were a lot easier today and bench was a lot harder. Da fuk? I mean squats werent exactly easy but I barely got 3 out on Friday but tonight managed to get another 2 reps, even though they were tough. Bench on Friday was a joke... Tonight I barely got the 5th. Gained strength on my squat and lost strength on my bench. wtf mate?

I wouldnt worry about the randomness of things feeling heavy or light. I always felt weird after some time off, just keep given'er. you got 8+ weeks to make something awesome happen, starting at 320 / 232 / 408 x 5's aint bad.

Had some pretty epic DOMS in my back from deads and shrugs on Thursday so I took it easy on squats today. 135kg felt nice and smooth. Will add 5kg a week until it slows down so probably around the 150kg mark.
Bench was alright. 3 reps was fairly easy but getting another 2 out on Monday is going to make it a little tougher... Still 107.5kg was easier this time than when I did it a month or two ago. It was pretty damn tough that time.
Close grip bench is feeling good this time as well... hopefully my bench shoots back up to the 120kgx5/265x5 mark again !!!My Madcow Journal - http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=136450181

Finally a sesh where I felt normal for once.
Squats were nice and easy. Prob had at least 8 in me.
Bench was a bit tough, although I prob couldve gotten the 5 tonight. I think I'll go back to 105 and go from there on Monday.
Going to start catching the train to work from now on so no more riding apart from to the gym and back. Seriously cbf riding to work anymore. So plan is to reset a few lifts and start fresh. Next month or so I'm not doing anything so HOPEFULLY will be able to get some good progression in for once.

Squats and bench were way harder than I was expecting. Was hoping for a nice and easy session. Dropped over 1kg over the weekend, even though I did nothing, probably didnt help. Took out too many cals from my diet since I'm not riding to work anymore. I'll add back some more and hopefully be steady at the 105kg mark again.

Squats felt great tonight. Having fresh legs makes a world of difference. Had at least 2 left in the tank, maybe 3.
Bench was heavy again. 5th rep was a bit of a grinder. May have been able to get out 1 more but it would've been an epic grinder if so. I should be blasting through 107.5kg ffs! Not sure what's happening
Decided to do some skull crushers. Tonight was just finding out where I'm at strength wise with them. 40kg was easy. Plan is to do 2x8 with them on Monday's. Will add 2.5kg a week.

Thanks brah. They were pretty ease. Not as easy as my 185x5x3 about 5 weeks ago though. Hopefully will get up to at least 210x5 this round!!My Madcow Journal - http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=136450181

Don't keep deloading your bench, recently you worked up to good weights 2 times just to back off when it got a bit hard. Grind through that sh!t give yourself a chance even if it feels like risking failure. You can't have me benching more then you.
