That is flipping retarded how easy he makes the shoulder pressed with 3 plates seem. He did the last set of those for something like 19 or 20 reps. Retar-ded. The weight he is moving is scary. Just wondering how long before he has a major injury though. Training like that has to wreck your body. I think guys like Cutler are much smarter in the way they train in terms of longevity in the sport. But then again, Branch isn't as genetically gifted.
You gotta respect the work he puts in though. Astounding. He is never going to be my favorite bodybuilder because of how he looks, but will always have major respect from me for how he trains.

I say this as a humble low-level bodybuilder that doesn't know **** about **** compared to Branch Waren and most of you...
But isn't his form terrible here? It seems like he is always bringing extra muscles into things (his back a lot), and also that he is neglecting the negative motion completely. Like the shoulder press for example seemed like crazy cheating to me.
Can anyone educate me on this? Do you guys recommend doing it like he is here?

The interwebz always underestimates the power of the mind/muscle connection...it can really make a WORLD of difference in your training.
You can bet your a$$ that Branch and any other pro knows how to stimulate the sh!t out of the targeted muscle group. Otherwise, they wouldn't be so developed...
If you know baseball at all, its kinda like a MLB power hitter who hits lots of homeruns and has a huge leg kick in his swing....It OBVIOUSLY works for him and his skills and timing and muscle control are advanced enough that he is successful, but for the average little leaguer? Its not gonna work too well.
Thats kind of a wacky example, but maybe that makes more sense to you.
