Where did this *******ry come from? Everytime I go on the misc there is always some ******* fapping over how superior he is because of his chosen career.
Also why does society put these careers on a pedestal?
Btw, you do realise why these careers get paid the most right? Do you understand how much studying it requires to get into these fields? Do you realise how much longer you have to work in these fields? If you think 9-5 is hard, try doing a 8pm-9am shift in the hospital.
Some people actually want some free time to enjoy their life.
Over and out.

medicine isnt something i would ever want to get into, because honestly, i'm not smart enough for it. i wouldn't mind banking, tho. financial stability @ a later time in life is more important to me than 'having fun' and being miserable. as much as i dont believe in the college degree system, ive just come to accept its the only way you'll ever get anywhere in life. i might not enjoy life as much as someone who works a 9-5 and has time off, but i @ least know that i'm secure in where i'm at and not living paycheck to paycheck

Why is enginerring god tier lol?
I mean it leads to a great career path with a good income but I make more money than most engineers as a CPA and work less than they do.
The trick is to work your ass off in the beginning of your career until you're experienced enough to find that high-paying cushy job.Start (fat guy):May 31 2009 - 205lbs ~34%bf
(first large cut) July 31 2010 - 140 lbs ~14-15%bf
(first bulk) March 1 2011 - 164lbs ~18-19%bf
Currently (June 30, 2011) - 146lbs ~11-12% bf
Ultimate Long term Goal - 170lbs @ 10%bf

Joining the military if you have a good backround, and are a university student is promising especially if your into medicine, law, and engineering.. lots of high- pay scaled jobs available as an officer.
But if you have no education and your merely a ground foot soldier.. then you make dick all.Weak but lean crew

Exactly what I'm doing. AF is pretty competitive to get into but they offer a sweet scholarship and stipend or loan repayment programs for health professionals, and you enter as an O-3 with a three year active duty for my field. Navy and Army have similar packages too so whichever branch I get into I'd be happy.

actually my friend went in at 5 am and didn't get to leave until 1240 AM FRIDAY NIGHT/SAT MORNING
these are hard jobs. i think people need to find a field they feel fulfilled doing and happy doing. its not the money its the happiness. money means nothing absolutely nothing it is just a means to help you get and do the things you like but if you have to be miserable and bored getting the money then it isnt worth it.Godhand502 = the man!
