yea i do the same. the only 'heavy' curling i do is i run the rack from 15 lbs all the way to 50 or 55lbs then back down to 15 lbs.
other than that im pumping 12-30 reps. lighter weights with strict form.
the other day i put a 45 and two tens on each side of the EZ bar for preacher curls and did it a few times for the lulz. i normally dont go over 25 lbs on each side for preacher.

20'' arms cold and I can do 50's for 15-20 reps with very controlled form. If you want them to grow you need to add weight. At 18'' I wasn't touching 15lbs...at least 30lbs. True high reps stimulates white fibers which give the pump and help with endurance but you also need to stimulate the red muscle fibers which are thicker and used for heavier poundage. Pick up more weight and do 5-8 reps to fail
