I have been progressing very well in my leg work outs. I i've added 80lbs to my leg press in a few weeks. but i've noticed that my knees hurts now, not just one or two days after but constantly. every time i bend my knees. Before the leg work out i do a few min on the bike to warm up the joint's. but still i have pain in my knees.
Did i progress too fast for my knee joints? Do i have to drop weight ?
Please help.

Well, you probably did progress too fast and did not leave your knees time to adapt. Join problems come from the form too, so check your technique.
so try not to go nuts one those

I hope thats not all the warm up you do - you should be warming up using weight - something like 20 reps,15 reps, 10 reps to get the blood flowing to the muscles and loosen up the joints

I have the same problem from the past that keeps creeping up to haunt me if I do too much weight in squats or calf raises. I find the best thing to do is simulated leg extensions (no weight, seated on a firm chair). You can do these anytime and anywhere and it strengthens the muscles going down into your kneecaps. Also, make sure you do lots of stretching before you apply weights in your workout.
