So, more directed to spiderman, ka0s, and the whole smarter crew of this forum lol.
Too much sh!t online, basically I'm asking of a good list of foam rolling and what it actually does. Is it like stretching, but more advanced as in it'll loosen up your muscles even better than regular stretching?

Same thing as deep tissue massage. If you do it preworkout, it will help draw blood into the area, making you more limber and prepped for your workout. If you do it on off days, it can help with recovery (debatable as to whether it's to a worthwhile extent) and can work out knots to keep you feeling good.
tl;dr it feels good and they're like $10

I bought one the other week too.
Use it when I get home from every work out. Spend a good 15mins. And also use it on my back if ive been sitting down for too long and am a bit sore.
Deep tissue massage. Breaks up the knots in your muscles, relieves tightness, increased mobility and flexibility if you use it right. Good relaxation tool too.
You can get the same effect with a tennis ball. A foam roller just gets a larger area faster though. I do prefer a tennis ball on my pecs and front delt though.
