    Cutting Alcohol....BEER

I love drinking my beer but I need to cut it out. My delimma is that I like the relax feeling i get when I drink. is there supplements or diet that can give me this same feeling that is healthy.

I read that alcohol actually reduces the creatine development and muscle repair. I take creatine, protien powders, multivitamin and zma. I have seen improvment in my reps and lifting weight I just can cut the gut. any suggestions.... we have changed our diets 70%...

u dont need that feeling, its just an addiction that tells you that you need it. if you get off of it for a few days you'll feel better

an addiction, is an addiction, is an addiction. im addicted to caffeine and the average energy drink doesn't even really do it for me anymore. i need to get the rockstar zero carb (240mg) or nas (260mg) or spike shooters (300mg) and even that just keeps me from getting a headache lol

I doubt it's hurting you at all unless you're some kind of horrible binge drinker. Just account for your alcohol calories don't do anything stupid when you're drunk.

Well like others have said, you really do need to address your dependence on alcohol. Nip that **** in the bud right now before you find yourself at an Al-Anon meeting being told you're diseased and powerless.

That said, yerba mate has a great relaxant effect on your muscles, and anxiety if you happen to suffer from it. It sounds counter intuitive, being a stimulant, but it totally works.

if a guy feels bad for eating too much, he has an eating disorder
if a guy likes a beer buzz, he's an alchoholic

@OP- its not hard to fit a couple of light beers into your daily macros. 2 beers a day does not an alchoholic make.

Your never going to be able to get shredded and have powerful muscle like Benji Loco wasting your time drinking beer - Doyouevenlift.jpg

First you must ditch the alcohol as your coping mechaniasm or relaxing mechanism and only drink socially. If you must drink have vodka soda water/vodka waters with lime. Very few cals and you can get still get yucky with the boys.

I drink around 4 beers after work and not on a daily basis... sometimes I go a week with out, and 55 calories per beer doesnt seem to be that damaging to me. Most certainly at 430pm before I eat and hours before I go to bed. So I am not tying one on and falling all over the place I think I might have mislead you.

Dude your wasting your time working out whilst your drinking as alcohol will shut down your anabolic receptors which will equal to little to no muscle growth, hope this helps.
