CONCRET, N.O. XPLODE 2.0, BSN AminoX, White Flood & Many MORE (Emergency & HICKT0WN)

This is NOT your Daddy’s LOG

This Log is not sponsored for either Emergency or I! I will be logging CONCRET that I PURCHASED after doing a sponsored CONCRET log. I felt like I made great gains using the product and I want to know exactly what CONCRET can do for me in the long run.

I will also be logging BSN N.O. Xplode version 2.0 Watermelon and BSN AminoX. Both are brand new products from BSN. Once again, I am under no obligation to log this product. Eric from BSN hooked me up with these two products to try out, so I decided on my own to log them along with CONCRET.

So what’s different about this log/journal

Emergency and I will be throwing in various supplements such as SNS Focus XT and ProMera Health BETA-Cret to review if we happen to have samples laying around. I already know that White Flood, Purple Wraath, and Green Mag from Controlled Labs will make an appearance during this log as well as numerous AI products such as Maniac, RecoverPro, and 3Z just to name a few.

A little about me. I just turned 36 years old 6 feet 3 inches tall and weigh 183 pounds. I competed in the 12 week bb.com transformation challenge and ended up gaining 20 pounds from 159 on January 1st to 179 on March 31st. I have gained 4 more pounds since then and my goal is 190. I'm in a semi clean bulking stage where I'm trying to hit 3500+ calories a day.

I'm a Middle School Principal with a georgeous wife and 2 wonderful boys aged 8 and 11. I live in the Mountains of North Georgia and I've been training on and off since I was in high school. I did have back surgery on a ruptured disk when I was 15 followed up by a second back surgery when I was 30. Because of back issues, I will not be utilizing heavy squats or deadlifts. I have just recently introduced these two exercises into my routine and will be using low weight with high reps to avoid serious injury. Also, after following Emergency's logs, I've decided to try his high rep routine. His numbers are CRAZY!!!!

During this log, I will be supplementing with CONCRET blue Razz on training days as well as 5g’s of Creatine Micronized Mono by ON on off days. I will be using a pre-workout of BSN N.O. XPlode 2.0 watermelon and BSN AminoX for BCA’s for an Intra supplement. I will be taking 50g of Banana Perfection Myofusion Whey post workout and a daily multi and fish oil.

    My Goals after 2 months:
    Bench Press: 245 x 10 [Current = 225 x 11]
    Squat: 225 x 20 [Current = 185 x 15]
    Deadlift: 255 x 10 [Current = Not sure]

Emergency will be along soon to introduce himself and let everyone know what supplements he is currently taking.

We are open to criticism and feedback during this log so if you have comments or questions, please feel free to ask.

Sweet! Glad to have you both on board. I have a feeling I'm going to hit some some serious PR's! I have no major trips planned for the next few months so I'm really going to be able to focus my attention on training. I'm fired up!

    It's Leg Day!!

Time to get this party started!!!

I haven't gotten my full tub of N.O. XPlode or AminoX, but I do have some N.O. Xplode samples so I'll be hitting those until my tub arrives.

    Pre-Workout supplementation:
    2 capsules of Concrete
1.5 scoops fruit punch NO Xplode 2.0

Since I injured my right foot/toes trying to skim board at the beach, I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to do squats or leg presses, so I stuck with leg presses just to make sure I didn't tweak my black and blue toes.

    Leg Press
    4 plates x 10 Warm up
    6 plates x 20
    6 plates x 20
    6 plates x 20

    Supersetted with

    Leg Curls
    70 #'s x 20
    70 #'s x 18
    70 #'s x 15

I'm trying Emergency's high rep routine and WOW was my legs swole after these supersetted sets. Because of my 2 back surgeries, I think I like these high rep sets with lower weight. We will see how it works out for the next month or so.

    Leg Extensions
    70 #'s x 20
    70 #'s x 20
    70 #'s x 18

My legs are really feeling it now! For those of you who have followed my previous logs, you know that I get in the gym, Kick it's @ss, and then get out. I'm NOT a marathon lifter. I HATE CARDIO and that goes for CARDIO 2 hour lifting sessions. This workout lasted 40 minutes, but I was beat at the end of it.

Let's review the supps shall we???

CONCRET did it's job. I felt great. Had plenty of endurance, and it wasn't for muscle failure, I could have lifted all night. But then again, I was sold on CONCRET a long time ago.

    Taste: NA (capsules today)
    Endurance: 9.2
Recovery: It's Day #1 Silly Gooses!

N.O. XPlode 2.0 was excellent. I've been extremely impressed with just how much energy it gives me throughout the workout. I love the BA tingles and this product really gives them to you. The other thing that stands out about version 2.0 is that the energy rush and tingles typically cease after about 20 to 30 minutes. I'm noticing that I'm still feeling that energy rush and even some tingles 45 minutes into the workout! I'm really digging this supplement!

    Taste = 9
    Energy = 9.5
Vascularity= Not sure it was leg day
Pump= 9 (I'm certain it had something to do with the high reps too, but my legs were PUMPED!)

    Post-Workout Supplementation:

Since I haven't recieved the AminoX, I decided to review AI Sports Nutrition RecoverPro!

Taste: 9.5 (Red Raspberry had a really nice taste. The after taste did linger for awhile though)
Mixabilitiy: 7.5 (Really strange how it created a film on top of the water. I was mixing with a spoon. Probably better in a shaker. It had small clumps everwhere, but they were not noticeable when drinking it.)
Recovery: N/A (I have no idea since I just took it. It's hard to review a recovery product on just one or two samples.)

    Myofusion Banana Perfection: 50g

I felt this was a great workout to get back into my routine after being on vacation for a week. I hope the legs aren't too sore tomorrow. Maybe the Concret and RecoverPro will do their jobs and ease my DOMS!!

This is me after taking CONCRET: It's Superman!!!

Not yet. Will be making the log tomorrow night once my sponsored BETA-Cret log is finished.

    Will be supplementing with:
    CON-Cret
    BETA-Cret
    Assault x 2 tubs
    Hemavol
    NO XPLODE V2
    Carnivor
    Karbolyn
    Performance Edge
Insert whey here (will be changing periodically)

Of course not all at the same time. Once the tub of each runs out a full review will be posted in the log. Check out my current BETA-Cret log. It'll be following how I run that, with my workouts, commenting after every workout, so on and so forth.

    http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...hp?t=135117861

With the possibility of Creature Powder and Animal Rage down the line. I'll be sure to drop a link for you guys though. Cool too see others had the same idea I did, not being tied down to a sponsored log but still giving companies honest hard-working logs, on products we believe in.

I have taken Mono before. I had been taking Mono (non Creapure) for 3 months before taking CONCRET. I did have a lot more water weight gain, but no real bloating or GI issues. I did look bloated and swollen a little, but I didn't mind that since my goal was to get bigger and bulk up. That is why I was so impressed with CONCRET because I made HUGE strength gains with it and I had been on a creatine for 3 months prior. I figure the mono will keep me saturated and the CONCRET will be there to really give me the edge on workout days while minimizing bloating since I'll be taking Mono 3 days a week and CONCRET 4 days a week.

And by the way....I'm really only here to see the big numbers emergency puts up too!

Love the intro, it looks really good.

The legs feel too good today which means I didn't hit them hard enough. I'll add the squats in on the next leg day.

The foot is actually feeling pretty good today. I really thought I had broken my big toe, but I think I can move it this morning. Whoohoo. I'm now glad I didn't go to the emergency room and blow $500 for them to splint it.

Today is Chest and Arms Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so fired up about it and about this log that I couldn't hardly sleep last night. Stay tuned!!!

    Chest and Arms

    Pre-workout Supplementation

    2 scoops CONCRET BLUE RAZZ
    1.5 servings N.O. XPlode 2.0 Watermelon
    Intra - RecoverPro Lemon

It's been about 3 weeks since I've tasted the Blue Razz goodness! I've missed it's refreshing taste! Welcome back CONCRET

    Flat Bench
    135 x 8 warm up
    165 x 12
    185 x 10
    205 x 7
    135 x 15 (Failure0

*I was really hoping to get 8 on the 205, but at least I improved on reps since my last workout. I'll give this same weight a go again this week. I should get all my reps, then I'll go up 5 pounds. I'll continue this process for the next month or so with the goal of hitting 8 reps of 225 on that 4th set.

    Barbell Curls
    75#'s x 15
    75#'s x 12

    Hammer Curls
    25# db's x 12
    25# db's x 12

    Skull Crushers
    95#'s x 15
    95#'s x 15 (PR's)

*I'm trying for higher reps cuz I wanna be like Emergency. I was gonna hold off on trying for any PR's until next week, but what the heck! I threw the 35's on each side of the curl bar and kicked some skull crushing Butt!

    Supplement Assessment
CONCRET did what it always does. Provides insane strength and endurance throughout the workout. It's only gonna get better from here.

N.O. Xplode provided that rush of energy and continuous focus throughout the workout. I'm loving this Pre-workout. Quality stuff.

Intra - RecoverPro Lemon: This was a refreshing taste. I never use intra supplements so this was a nice change of pace. The Lemon flavor was really nice also. I think I liked the taste of the Red Raspberry better though. I mixed it with about 18 oz. of water and threw in some ice. I sipped on it for the entire workout.

This workout lasted about 50 minutes. I had an excellent pump in my chest and arms. This is a great stack so far. I can't wait to get the AminoX for my Intra BCAA's. That might just make the perfect stack!

    Back and Shoulders tomorrow!

Training and off days I use whey three to four times a day, Fish oil three times a day,Animal pack with breakfast. Creatine in the morning on non training days or take it pre and post on training days. Then use ZMA and Casein prior to bed .

A step backwards is better than a setback.

If this (insert whatever trivial thing that is upsetting me) is the worst thing to happen today, I'm going to have a great day.
