Has anyone ever done this or had success with it? How would you go about a client filling out a waiver?

interesting concept! ive never skyped trained i have streamed some live workouts with some of our athletes but never trained specificaly over it... as far as a waiver id have an faxed paper work (with witnessed or noterized) and a signiture on assumption of risk. thats should take care of that.

I actually use Skype when my experienced clients go out of town. I send them with some basic (compact) equipment and guide them through a routine and check up on their diets, regiments, etc... Clients who have Skyp on their iphone or Droid can actually go to the gym and set the camera down so I can check their form while they are exercising.
Works pretty good and actually has kept a few clients on track, but I wouldn't trust this method to someone I never met in person--and defiantly not one without a waiver.~Coach Rick Sterling Tarleton

I've been wanting to try this, that way I can literally expand my services all across the United States. What I am most concerned about is how to properly have them complete a liability/waiver form

Send client waiver, they fill it out, scan it or fax it back. Profit
Client making videos of training then sending them to you will be much more efficient. Otherwise you spend the entire hour with them, online training should be cheaper.
Skype is good for video conferencing and discussing changes they need to make, etc.
