Yeah I do that all the time. Then I go into the music section and make fun of people who like the music that I don't. Then I go on youtube to look for videos of sports teams I don't like and make fun of their fans. Then I neg the OP. And before you think I'm mad because I wear that, you can go search the thread for posts by me. You'll find 0.

Not my style, but idgaf.
I actually live in a place where dressing like that isn't abnormal, but I'm sure half of the ****s in the Sperry/Polo thread live in like Montana or something.

we dont dress in colors all the time. maybe every other day we'll throw a conservative white polo and light khakis on. either way we dress nice.
not to brag, cause the style may not be your taste, but can you honestly be more presentable casually than oxford button downs or polos and flat front chinos with loafers?

The problem with that thread is that they make Sperrys and Polos out to be a big deal. In real life, people wear polos and boat shoes ALL THE TIME. It's nothing special.
The idiots who post in that thread think wearing these "normal and ordinary" clothes will make them look special/stand out. They overdo it and end up looking like idiots.
Instead, all they'd have to do is buy a dozen polos, buy a few shorts, buy 1 pair of shoes. Spend 2 seconds wearing polo, spend 5 seconds wearing shorts, and as you're walking out.. put your shoes on. Bingo.
I've been wearing these clothes since I was 14. It's nothing special. I wear them out all the time because to me those are normal-people clothes. I look good in them because I don't make a BIG DEAL OUT OF IT.

its not about standing out; its just about looking good for yourselves and your peers.
also, no people dont wear polos and boat shoes ALL THE TIME. are you serious? the 30+ age group does not matter. the thread is filled with mostly college students or recent graduates. even in college, about half of the people dont give a F on how they dress, which they should because they are mature enough.

lolwut, i have no use to dress like that
i would wear decent running/walking shoes that are comfortable and a jeans and a t shirt / polo / etc, takes like 2 mins to get dressed and i have enough clothing for the rest of my life, like maybe 7-10 "outfits"
i dont need to color match my outfit as they are all dark colors
