What can I add in to help ease the aches in my shoulders? I had great results with animal flex in the past but I know I can't add flex with OT as that would be overkill. I would like to continue using OT and just add something into it

Add in more healthy fats-fish oil, ibuprofen if your shoulder is swelling at all. Also when I had some shoulder pain I rubbed sweet sweat all over my shoulder to help warm it up, and keep it warm. You could also use Vaseline to have a similar effect of the sweet sweat.

What are you expecting out of it? OT's joint complex is great, but it won't work miracles.
With shoulders, a lot of the times there's a balance issue. Make sure your push to pull ratio isn't overly chest dominant.
Make sure your rotator cuffs are warmed up properly on push day. Flailing around a 5lb plate and pretending to warm them up doesn't count.
May need to rest and/or deload.
Fish oil has anti-inflammatory properties, and cissus is useful for collagen production. Consider adding something like OxiMega and iForce Joint Help.Olympus Labs Representative

Fish Oil and Cissus. Joint Help is good stuff.
Your results with Flex and not with OT are likely placebo/coincidence considering they have the same active joint ingredients.
You should look towards the root cause of your pain, it is probable you have injured yourself more. Changing form/mobility/exercise selection/rest is probably going to do more than anything elseLast edited by powercage; 06-10-2015 at 05:32 PM.

What is your injury/joint pain? As mentioned above, it could be that the specific body part/joint needs rest.
If available, I'd also recommend looking at picking up a fish oil and cissus. I've used OT in the past and I've absolutely loved it, but if animal flex worked great for you in the past I'd recommend going back to that and picking up another multi.Myprotein's Official Bodybuilding.com Lead Representative ✔

My shoulders have always made this popping when rotating them. All the way back to when I was a kid. After a heavy chest workout my right shoulder just gets a fatigued feeling and some very minor aching. I'm not sure if it is do to my gym only having smith machines and my shoulder having to push on a much less natural plane.
Also I do take fish oils daily. I'm using bb.com ultra

I had shoulder problems. Had 2 ultrasounds and now my second cortisone injection. Physiotherapy for rotar cuff exercises and if it doesn't get better surgery to correct the impingement.
I am taking Animal Flex, OT, Joint Help and Fish Oils****27/04/2013 partial rupture of the right bicep****

Another vote for fish oil and cissus
My joint stack is Elastamine (similar to effective joint ingredients in ot)
Primaforce cissus
Controlled labs oximega fish oil
Other then that get some stretching in and rest, that's about all you can do

We also have capped cissus if the taste is an issue___----Xtend Representative----___

Agree with the other points re: underlying issue to address - seems like it could be a form/balance or a minor injury especially since it is located in one shoulder. Had several friends start out with minor shoulder injuries and then aggravate it or try to cover it up - ultimately prolonging the injury and recovery. If you're interested in books - Bulletproof Your Shoulder (Johnson) and Treat Your Own Shoulder (McKenzie) are good resources for outlining stretching routines that can ameliorate several vague shoulder injuries.
Once you look into form / light rehab, agree with adding cissus or a joint supp with OT. Recommendation would be Blue Star Joint Armour - (which includes Cissus)☆☆☆ STATUS – BUY 2 SAVE 15% ☆☆☆ TRIBULUS - BUY 1 GET 1 50% ☆☆☆ AMINOFAST – SAVE $10! ☆☆☆
