It's been over year since I've stepped into a public gym, srs.

I used to train at a gym for many years but after a while it started to get to me. I'm kinda an old school lifter who likes a HOT gym and loud music, my old gym was not like that. Very cold inside so people wouldn't sweat and I had to wear headphones. When I moved I vowed I would make a home gym, and when I touched down here, it's the first thing I started on. It's not complete but it has what I need to grow.....

tell me about it. the music blows hard at big gyms. god i miss my high school gym, went to a small school with only the basic equipment but we could blast the hardest music and no fukks are given.

Another annoying thing about gyms in general are all of the newbs......ALL of the gyms will be flooded with resolutioners doing their goofy shyt for the New Year, then you have the Spring Break Abs-In-2-Weeks goofs.......no thanks jack

haha, see that stuff just makes me laugh. makes the trip to the gym a little more interesting. i do hate having a plan before a workout and then have *******s doing curls in the rack when you want it.

LA fitness has those e-z curl bars, so don't get mad when i come and curl in the squat rack or take up the bench press for curling (srs)

i dont know why the kind of bar makes a diference where you curl at, but if youre curling in the squat rack i'll be standing behind you bert staring (srs)

i believe the barbell targets the biceps more effectively even though it is harder on the wrists, see you at the squat rack

I work out at golds in downtown phoenix. Decided to bite the bullet and pay 29$ a month to get free parking and all the amenities, a d a guest pass.

I used to.

Decent place. Two cages and I believe one of those non adjustable squat racks. Depending on the crowd, you could do power cleans and dead lifts.

Can't remember how heavy the DBs went but it was at least 70 lbs. Four or five racquet ball courts, full basketball court, two C2 rowers, tons of elliptical and treadmills upstairs, sauna, full sized pool, wood floor exercise room with several bags and of course the standard creepy naked old man in the locker room.

Before noon, full of hot milfs (free child care), noon to 2/3 wasn't too bad. After that, it filled up quickly with the hs kiddies.
