    possible to lean out while intaking high protein?

    A friend was telling me that in order to get lean muscle i would have to consume about 185g of protein matching my current body weight.. is it possible to just take whey or casein 3x a day and lean out and not gain a lot of weight?

    Protein plays a thermic role within the body besides other caracteristics, thus it helps burn bodyfat.
