I read up on them here on the forums and I am thinking about buying them. But, some kid at school told me they are illegal for highschool sports? Is that true? Why on earth would they be?
Also, if my whey protein has over 5 grams of BCAAs, do I still need to buy them? I read that you only need about 4 grams or so after a workout?
thanks,
Chilaha

Do you even know what BCAAs are??
Did you tell this kid what an idiot he is?
BCAA are found in chicken, beef, fish.
why would they be illegal for highschool sports??
Theres no reason to take BCAAs unless you are going for long durations without food or you have a big calorie deficit.Powerlifter at PTC Performance Training Centre
