I assume most everyone in this thread brews their own, rather than spending an exorbitant amount of money on that sewage water from places like, say, Starbucks.

Dear Coffee crew,
I write you this letter in sadness. I have recently had to curve my coffee intake passed 5pm. I have been having issues falling asleep at night, been like this for years, but I think it's finally time to get real about it and stop all caffeine at 5pm.
Ugh, this sucks. I love having coffee right after dinner. I might need to find a good decaf coffee. Any ideas? Maybe it's in my head, but it seems like decaff coffees just don't taste the same. One party system; Most Republicans are Democrats, but no Democrats are Republicans.

decaff doesnt taste the same because it isnt the same chap, for my 2p I say just stick to when you can have the real thing.
Plus there were some suggestions a few years back that decaff raises LDL cholesterol.

You may want to switch over to tea in the evening. Load up on coffee first thing in the morning and throughout the afternoon to please your coffee cravings. Here are some of my favorites.
rooibos: Very refreshing, non caffeinated red tea. Tastes amazing with honey. Perfect for summer.
oolong: A bit more bold and robust compared to green or black with more depth of flavor. It's caffeinated but not nearly as much as coffee. About the same as decaf.
camomile: Strong floral tea that will help you relax in the evening. Brew it strong with mint leaves for flavor.
Treat it the same as coffee in the sense that you want quality leaves. You can even steep in your french press. Each tea leaf has a different steep temperature. The herbal teas usually require boiling or near boiling, and the more delicate like green or white tea needs water at the brink of a soft boil.

Just put the coffee grounds in a cup and add hot water (not quite boiling, but close to boiling). Stir it and let it sit for a few minutes. Makes a very robust cup of coffee, and is basically the same as a French press, but without the plunger. You just need to make sure not to drink the grounds, but they stay in the bottom of the glass anyway
Phin filters are cheap as fukk too.*Beer Crew* *Bourbon and Scotch Crew* *Cardamom in My Coffee Crew* *Catbrah Crew* *Chicago Crew* *Coffee Crew* *Cologne Crew* *Dates Older Women Crew* O===}DBZ Crew{===O *Egyptian Crew* *First Beat the Elite 4 While on the Toilet Crew* *Maghrebi Crew* *Mediterranean Crew* *Middle-Eastern Crew* *Miscers Who Lift Crew* *Miscs While on the Toilet Crew* *Takes Too Long on the Toilet Crew*
