Test mount. Going to move it back ( towards the rear of the Jeep ) to be able to tuck the wires up in the mounts and hidden. After i wire it up and get the SWR reading good i will pull the brackets and have them painted black.

What's the best jeep specific forum? I'm on the hunt for a tj that's already built (nothing crazy but something that's already got decent suspension and lockers) and has been well cared for. I'm sure I'd find a nicer example on an enthusiast site rather than finding one off Craigslist.

I need to figure out how to mount a ski rack on my JK. I might just drill into the rear portion (not the removable front) of the hard top. Then in the summer I can just take the hole thing off as one piece if I want to take the top off.

I post on wrangler forum, but it's complete trash for anything besides "what lift kit and tires should I get?" Very limited knowledge. There are a couplease good posters, though. Will be moving on to jeep forum pretty soon.

Most annoying question is "can these wheels and tires fit stock" or "can these fit with a 2 inch BB lift kit"
FML. I have owned 2 ZJ's, a WJ, and now a WK. Swear this question is the bane of my jeep ownership existence.

Here is mine as of now.
Bought it completely stock 06, Hemi, 104,000 on it.
I dont offroad it though. Sorry it is basically my street driver/grocery getter.
We wanted and SRT but couldnt find a decent one with under 100,000 on it. So this will have to suffice.

Give it another shot here. Anyone running Teraflex 9550 shocks? Really, really leaning towards these now. 9.5" travel in the front and 10" in the rear? In. Just can't find any info on them besides guys buying their first lift and saying "yea their great!" with no comparative experience.

Finally got the CB powered up and tuned for the most part. Just have to wait till we go on our wheeling trip this weekend to find out for sure.

i agree. tons of guys around here take huge losses on their built rigs. stuff with one tons, locked, hydraulic steering, etc. then they sell them when they get 90% done becuase they don't have time to finish it or don't have time to wheel after all or whatever.Originally Posted by tooKOOLforSKOOL
