Definitely willing to travel. I'll go as far as Texas if I have to lol. And honestly I would prefer a stock one. I found one in CO that was a perfect match. 1998, 100k miles, had a 3" lift with 31's, soft top, owner said it just had a new clutch and rear main seal replaced. He was asking $8500 obo. Shame I wasn't ready to buy lol.
In other news, just got my rough country adjustable track bar for my XJ. Should be putting it on tomorrow. Then time for an alignment and hopefully no more uneven tire wear. Doing front brakes today.Your life will never be a straight path.”

Hey bros, been looking at getting a Jeep for a while now and my budget limits me to either a Grand Cherokee or a Cherokee (the UK equivalent of the Liberty). I'm quite interested in the Liberty and I went to have a look at one tonight, seemed fun as fuk to drive and I liked the extras that it had. Question is, anyone have any experiences with Cherokees (or Libertys), they get a pretty bad rap on the Misc for some reason? Also, I probably won't be doing any serious off roading, but would like to be able to do some less demanding trails

Seems like this thread is dead, but anyway, I went to test drive another Cherokee (Liberty) on Monday, it was an 05 CRD Limited. While looking round it I noticed that the dealer had a 06 Grand Cherokee parked a few cars down for 1,000 more. I took the Cherokee for a spin and was about to buy it but thought I should test drive the Grand Cherokee as well, just to compare. As soon as I stepped into the Grand Cherokee I knew it was right for me...hnnnng it's ****ing awesome. Bought the Grand Cherokee and will be picking it up on Thursday.

about to make an appointment maybe tomorrow for the recall my 99 WJ has.. "rear structural reinforcement" .. pretty much saying if I am rear ended by a truck going a pretty decent speed there is a chance my gas tank may explode..so the way they are going to fix that issue is by installing a free of charge trailer hitch...
I wonder if that comes with the wiring too.. ha..** KNEE DRAGGERS UNITE **

Well the one I was interested in sold. Only bad thing about trying to buy something out of state. Locally, there isn't ****, and if there is, it's way over priced.

So how does the 4x4 work on these. Is it all wheel drive all the time or is that bullshyt "only when the car senses it needs it" awd? Sitting in the cabin atm, not seeing an awd lock button like in most suvs so guessing all the time. First SUV, glad it's a Jeep, liking it thus far. 2 year warranty came with it so I'm happy there.
As far as mods just gonna tint the front to match the factory rear tint, put a new sound system, hell, might get cute and get a tasteful lift.Last edited by wheynweed; 10-03-2015 at 08:29 AM.

Hey Jeep brahs. Been a while since I visited here.
I've been busy wrenching. Installing all new u-joints, ball joints, axle seals, and some other chit. Getting ready to take ole Sleipnir out in the spring. Next step is to adjust all of my control arms to set my caster again because I'm about to throw some new springs into it for Christmas to work better with my Fox shocks. I'll try and get some pics up soon, but it's not much different looking than in the OP, just has more miles on it.
Keep on Jeepin on.O|||||||O Official Jeep Brah Crew O|||||||O -creator-
