I had an argument with my boyfriends best friend last night. Well it resulted in me getting so angry I just looked him in the face, shouted at him and walked off. I don't think I'm in the wrong but I'm a bit worried as I don't want to cause my bf problems with his friend.
The friend had offered me a splif 3 times that night, I said no the first time. He made some sarcastic comments about not drinking or drugs. Why should be made to feel like I'm boring or no fun for not taking drugs? I shouted at him that the reason I don't is because I care about what I put in my body. And I don't want to be like him, Drunk, stoned and talking complete ****.
I think I've caused a problem now but I don't think I was wrong to say even if maybe I was a bit aggressive about it.

I don't think you should feel bad, if you don't want to drink or smoke he should have respected you choice. Your boyfriend should just tell him to quit bugging you about it.

2 what is up with stoners thinking it's actually something to brag about doing? I mean... is it at all HARD to start smoking weed and be a stereotypical burn out with nothing going for them and no interests in life? Yeah, that's really something to feel superior about and look down on people who're actually doing something with life and trying to be healthy and happy...

You should both feel regret for expressing such a non-tolerance for other people's different choices. But you only need to own up to your own behavior. If he doesn't do the same, then you are more correct in your behavior regarding this exchange.
