I'm not a doctor, but I beleive that is just something that forms from a young age. The stomach muslces dont fully close up like they should, and in some cases they have to operate if the doctor feels it might cause problems. I only think this because my son has the same thing going on from when he was two years old, and they kept a close eye on it to make sure there were no health risks. Could be wrong though, but it seems likea pretty common thing. Its just that to many people are too obese to see the gap, LOL.

wide set abs are just due to having a wide linea alba, an aponeurosis-like stretch of connective tissue that separates left and right rectus abdominis.
the horizontal cuts in the abs are called "tendonous intersections" and are similarly just stretches of connective tissue. there is nothing you can do (that i know of) to change the shape of either

This thread isn't about huge guts or wide waists, just really unusual abs.

Here's his routine.

He says he got a bad stomach infection and had constant diarrhea leading up to the show, which is why he looked as bad as he did. We're dodging more ninjitsu attacks than Flex Wheeler. Good lord what in god's name are you rambling on about. I was posting symmetrical abs to make the thread less miserable with all the pics of ugly abs you moron.
The gap is still there. That idiot who quoted me just tried to argue against my point with the fact that a distended stomach can make a genetic gap within your abdominals appear even wider. As if that was news to anyone. Surely everyone knows if you pull a piece of elastic, it gets wider. Sweet Jesus what a retard.
